  1. Figured that was the case but thanks regardless you two. Eh, someday I'll just snatch them all up from the bargain bin and power through them haha.
  2. Question for those who have played games in this series: is there a lot to do for just one person? I wouldn't be able to get anyone to play these games with me, so it'd be nice to not have a Nintendoland situation where a lot of the content is just straight-up locked out/not fun by yourself. I'm just curious, and if it is the case I'm wondering if it's a recurring thing. The more I think about it the more I want to pick up this new one but I'd hate to drop fifty bucks for something that's only fun with friends when the new Mario is right around the corner.
  3. I've flipped flopped on this game a ton every since first playing it Tuesday. I think I'm going to start a new game now that I know what to expect and see how I like it. For now I want to say it's a great effort marred by only a few non-fun spots, but maybe now that I know what to do they'll be fun the second time around. Also on the final boss:
  4. I am very happy with Tails Doll United. Important question though; does Tails Doll have any friends?

    1. Pharaoh Shadon

      Pharaoh Shadon

That depends. Would you sacrifice your soul for a new friend?

  5. I've been going all over with this one. The first 3 Zones were great. Then Frozen Factory hit and I got slapped with that snowball level. Since then the levels have been hit-or-miss. I'll definitely remember this game fondly for the presentation, story, and Windy Hill through Tropical Coast, but I'm going to have to really practice the Zones afterwards to see if I just suck or if the levels really are just kind of cheap.
  6. Have beaten the first 3 zones in Lost World Wii U so far, and I'm really liking it now that I've gotten the hang of the new controls

I hear Knuckles after he beats a level in SA.

  8. Walmart had Sonic Lost World...for the 3DS NUUOOO

  9. Maybe it's just something on my end, but none of your images are loading DaHog.
  10. I'd love to think about it but I'm still waiting on the current next Sonic game to come out. I've liked what I've played and seen of Lost World so more than likely when I'm done with it by the end of the week I'm going to want another game like Lost World. It'd also be nice to see another original handheld Sonic that isn't just a counter-part to a console version. I know there's been stuff like Dash and Jump, but something for a gaming handheld would be great since I don't have a good mobile device. The last one was...Chronicles? And Rush Adventure before that? Now that they've established that Dimps can handle making a 3D game (from what I've heard) it'd be neat to see a 3DS exclusive game or two. It will be interesting, that's for sure.
  11. Typing of the Dead isn't meant to be a teaching tool so much as a unique and quirky game. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Typing_of_the_Dead
  12. Let's kick this off! I've been reading The Disaster Artist, which is Greg Sestero's personal account of meeting the man, the legend, Tommy Wiseau,, best known for making the best film ever, The Room. It also details a lot of what happened while shooting the film, and basically helps to shed even more light on Tommy's notoriously secretive life, while simultaneously raising many more questions than were ever asked about him. Greg Sestero, by the way, played Mark, if you're not savvy with the actor's names. It's hilarious. I find Wiseau to be an enigma and find him to be a very entertaining individual, so I can't recommend it to everyone, but if you've ever watched The Room and thought "Just...why?!" this book is for you. Anyway how is your book life?
  13. Seems there is a pretty good chance it will be related to Typing of the Dead.
  14. Good to see this I suppose. The first game's iOS version amazingly worked on my mom's old iPod Touch (it's from 2009 and doesn't have a camera, whatever Gen that one is), but I couldn't really get into it. With the 5C I may get an iPhone and hopefully catch up on all the SEGA mobile releases, but it'll have to wait until after I get my car paid off in a few months. Hoping this does well for SEGA though.
  15. It's Pilotwings related guys. He's been showing that stage off a lot lately come to think of it.
  16. Time for the good 'ol "one week to go until the next Sonic game" phase...

  17. Better believe it brudduh. Couldn't drop Charizard or Blaziken...and I wound up really liking Talonflame...I just viewed the gaping elemental weakness as a handicap for using those dudes. Whatever I have to tell myself haha EDIT: Just wanted to chime in and say the "Fishing Chain" thing going around totally works. Just got a Shiny Clauncher, and he is awesome.
  18. Sonic 2 Remastered was just announced and is meant to help headline SEGA's winter mobile releases. TouchArcade article: http://toucharcade.com/2013/10/21/sega-announce-winter-release-lineup-headlined-by-sonic-the-hedgehog-2-remastered/ As far as console releases go, over at Sonic Retro Taxman said he can't give any news just yet and tells everyone to "stay tuned". As far as Sonic 3&K go, basically SEGA is aware of the demand but say it's not in the cards, for now. I'd bet just about anything that's referring to ongoing music issues with Sonic 3.
  19. Here's my horrible team that proves with the power of friendship anything is possible!!!!! It was a cakewalk, everyone was in the upper 60's/early 70's. Except for Blaziken who was Lv. 80. Felt bad about using a Legendary but I didn't use a Fairy type all game. Going to mess around with Friend Safaris, and then MAYBE work on a competitive team since it's so easy this gen. Or replay through Y with Pokemon I've never used before. So much I want to do.
  20. I don't think I ever made a crack at Europe for getting games later than NA, but if I have I'm definitely paying for my sins now. This is brutal. It's so difficult to not spoil myself. Regardless of how well it reviews I think I'm really going to love it though. This game is basically Colors 2 with an interesting new game mechanic, great style in graphics, music, and story (from what I've seen), and I really just don't see myself getting to a point where I have to say "This is a disappointment." I didn't even get that way with Unleashed so this game will have to be spectacularly misleading for me to be put off by it.
  21. Got the 8th badge last night. Heading out in a bit to get 3 Shiny Giratinas since that promotion ends today. I'm going to need some time ( and a play through on Y version) but the more I think about it the more I feel these might be the best Pokemon games yet. Just fantastic all around. It's been hard to want to put the game down.
  22. Really just depends who you ask. Some fans said it was too fast, some reviews said it was too fast. The reviews are...interesting to me, at least. Guess I'll see for myself at the end of the month.
