  1. Do you mean the one by Blaze? Or was it even by him? Oh, whatever, the one with only Kingdom Valley. Nevertheless that was just supposed to be a one-level game, and it's not like it disappeared, it's still available somewhere. I think I found it on youtube. Unless you're not talking about it, in which case ignore me. EDIT: Yep, it is.
  2. Amazing. A lot of work must have been put into this if you've got that many zones done already, or even concepts. This better get finished. Knuckles is from Chaotix, and the spring animation from CD. So yes, canon, if that's what you meant(?).
  3. Well, what can I say. It's awesome. Especially the option to turn on 8-way movement, I loved that. I always thought 360 movement looked kind of "off" with the old sprites, but that's just me. The movement is pretty much perfect, as are the physics. I'm sure I'd be able to get myself stuck somewhere if I tried hard, but this engine seems really bug-free. Now you just need to work enemies out, map a couple of levels and there you have a good game. Provided the levels are good, of course. Although, even this engine test level was pretty good. If you threw that quickly together, I imagine you could do some great stuff given more time. If I had to nitpick, I'd say Sonic jumps a bit too high in water.
  4. Apologies to anyone who was offended by my post, I didn't mean to sound like that. That's what I get for being half-asleep when posting. Anyway, what I was trying to say was that because of reasons well explained by Overbound's sig, advance-style has managed to get itself a bad reputation of sorts, at least for me. It's like a shop's front window(or a book's cover): you'll be inclined to judge the whole thing at first glance. I wasn't trying to complain about the sprites(I guess I did though), but explain why they are complained about. And, as I said in my last post, there's virtually no choice anyway for people who can't make their own sprites. So, again, sorry for that. (tl;dr: HAHAHA DISREGARD MY LAST POST I SUCK COCKS)
  5. Usually people bitch about Advance-style because EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER is using it. It kind of conveys the message "I am lazy so I just ripped a coupla sprites". This is obviously not the case here, but I did cringe a little out of reflex when I saw the sprites for the first time. Then again, if you can't sprite, there's really virtually no choice, since Genesis-style sonic can only run and jump and spin. On topic, I was really impressed by the level design. Keep it up!
  6. THE HUGE LOGO! IT BUUUURNS! No, seriously, try to make it a little smaller? It's too big to fit on my screen. Now that that's over with, based on the video you have a solid, if fidgety, engine(nowait it's sonic worlds), and even a custom sprite, even if only in standing position. But could you explain what the point of a Sonic game being online is? I don't see any benefit in playing with other people, unless it's like Sonic 2(3&K), with it being a race. What kind of gameplay are you going for?
