Pretty sure Neo removed all the old pages on the SAGE site in preparation for the new SAGE.

It seems like there would be enough buttons on the pro controller to make the second analog stick aim the gun. That's how Panzer Dragoon Orta did it and it worked well.

Nintendo's new games sure sound promising. Especially a new Zelda and Star Fox, but at the same time it's kind of a bummer that the games are still so far off. You'd think almost two years into the Wii U's life span we'd be seeing more than just tech demos. Zelda and Fox should be playable form by now.

Can banners be replaced later, after registration?
Can video footage be sent instead of the game itself?
Yes on both accounts.
But it will still be a while before we give out access to build your booths. But really all you have to do this time is fill out a short form and provide a download link. 5 minutes worth of work, so don't stress about it.

It's almost that time again!
Features:
SAGE Chat- As is the norm a SAGE chatroom will be accessible via the SAGE website or you can join using your favorite IRC client.
Game Pages – Using the popular CMS Wordpress Neo and I have built a site to allow game authors to edit their game pages in real time on the SAGE server. No more looking for a host or poorly designed booths. Game creators will be able to add verbiage and upload images directly to the SAGE website. We ask that you please host your demos and videos elsewhere but they can be linked easily from your SAGE page. We will have a list of recommended file hosts soon.
Entertainment Pages – Similar to game pages artists and content creators will be able to upload their works to their very own page on the SAGE website. Uploads can include music and images. You are also welcome to embed youtube videos or link to offsite files to download. If you are unsure you content qualifies contact us!
All pages will allow for commenting so that contributors can get feedback on their works.

We will make the final decision on how many pages your submissions require. Games will get their own pages. For other submissions we might ask you to put your fan art and music on a single page. We will look at each situation individually.

SAGE Promo Video
We will be releasing a SAGE promo video in the weeks following up to SAGE. Submit your game to [email protected] by July 15th to have your game included.
Events
Panels – panels are returning this SAGE using Twitch. Panel hosts will be able to access the live video stream using Twitch tools to stream their computer screens or cameras.
What is a Panel? Next to the fan games, panels are the main event at SAGE. We’ll be hosting panels via Twitch which will be embedded on the interactive page alongside the chatroom as in years past. Panels can be anything ranging from a music show, game creation tutorials, skits, fanfic readings, game review shows, live gameplay, or anything else you can think up.

I'd say more RPGs like the Mario ones. They are very easy to get into and keep the game a bit more action orientated with the timed button press attacks in battle. Plus there no random encounters which I've always found an extremely lazy design choice at least for games made in the past 15 years. Games older than that I can give a break if they are otherwise good.

I think the consensus should be that the older Japanese stories are more epic, but the American stories have better dialog. I guess that make some sense since the stories aren't translated into English but instead begin in English.

Nice I really like that pixel recreation of the Sonic. Though the logo could use some work, the white outline makes it look a bit goofy.

I am not a fan of the new redesigns. However Mercury pointed out to me that the new Sonic Boom design makes his face a lot more expressive. Modern Sonic always seems relaxed with just a slight smile. He never really expresses the cockiness of classic sonic or show much emotion at all. So I rather like that aspect of the redesigns even if the rest of the designs seem needless.

Erazor Neo and I were talking last night and after some discussion we decided to add two new moderators to the forum.
Rawr and Mr. Potatobadger have been made forum moderators. They are both great members and represent the best of our community, having them as part of the staff can only make this place better.

That's good I didn't mean to say BID was bad, just not used to it's full potential sometimes. BID is a very useful tool. I use both ways myself photoshop and BID. Heck sometimes I use both of them and with some editing by hand. It depends on the graphic and the kind of curve or slope I want to make.

Oh I assumed you were using BID to make your slopes now. Here's a copy if you are in need. It will make slopes too, using a different method.

Just used the warp tool in photoshop. Pretty simple actually provided you know how to do it. It's nice to see fan games with slopes that are not from BID. Because slopes from BID tend to be very short. Granted it has potential to make longer slopes but BID's method for sloping things is best on grass and no one makes custom masks for BID.

But things are looking good now. BTW, do you have a copy of photoshop? You could make a lot of different slopes better than what BID can do if you did. Or if you just post a copy of the snow I could make you some additional slopes.

Actually XG is still going and ET was canned, but it used to be the otherway around so at one point you were right Briraka.
Posting suggestion lists is fine, but let's not critique other's posts, or critique others critiques of posts. It reeks of back seat moderation and adds nothing to the conversation. If an actual Moderator sees an issue they'll take care of it without Lange and Highwire's help. No need to make another mess like the Overture thread. Moving on....

To speed up production of Sonic Time Twisted I am looking for another experienced level designer willing design levels in an image editor and port them and lay tiles and solids in Game Maker Studio.
This is not the easiest process in the world since Game Maker Studio's level editor blows ass. But if you are willing to be patient, I can assist a qualified candidate in learning to use the room editor.
Other qualifications include having skype so you can join the TT chat and be willing to download and use Dropbox. Please make sure you are serious if you want to apply, the position will require a great deal of work for free.
Please stay on topic. I am looking for a level designer nothing more.
