  1. Been playing Xenoblade Chronicles, it's fantastic.
  2. A respawn key would be nice. This is pretty fun, I love pulling all kinds of crazy shit with the physics, doing shortcuts and stuff. EDIT: that fucking canyon stage tho EDIT 2: Holy crap, why are you doing this to me Lake, that canyon part is infernal. The racetrack shouldn't be so narrow. EDIT 3: I think trees should stop you, not send you flying. EDIT 4: I'm starting to believe that only certain walls should let you run on them, crashing into one at high speeds will send you flying.

  4. Hehe, what? Nobody was telling you to stop working on this, only to work on your priorities, lol. Threatening people by saying you don't know who you're messing with doesn't really make you look good bro, just about the opposite.
  5. So I fell from the screw and can't get up again. The art is looking really nice but while it's really pretty, it doesn't feel very Sonic-y, it actually reminds me of Kirby a lot specially the backgrounds, and so does the music. (It's not bad music though) Terrain wise, level design is on the right track for the most part, as it has plenty on paths to explore, but there's some spots that really bother me, like the bit near the end of Act 1, where you can run on the water and there's a wall that stops you, having you go back and get the platforms. It really ruins the flow. Here's something you could do. There's also the obvious, and that is that there's really nothing else other than rings and springs to interact with, no badniks at all. It feels barren. Also, the climbing section with the waterfalls and the body of water on the bottom in Act 2 is really annoying, there's floating platforms, some conveyor belts and that's about it. Falling only makes you fall into a boring and flat underwater section. Lower paths should NOT be completely empty, flat and uninteresting, in fact, not any part should be like that. There's a lot of potential, just work on those bits.

  9. I have to agree with Hez a bit, don't get too ahead of yourself until there's solid ground to walk on. Otherwise you're going to end up falling.
  10. Yeah, like how many finished fangames are out there? The Sequel games, Chrono Adventure, Classic, Axiom, SRB2, Time Attacked... I don't remember any more. I also don't remember any 3D fangames getting finished, ever.

  13. It's strange they target a fangame, they rarely do that if at all. What's even more strange is that I'm sure the project didn't have much done to get their attention. Another thing is that 3D Sonic fangames tend to be pretty mediocre to decent at best, don't see how that would be an issue with them.

      It would be best if updates were here as well. Sonic Retro isn't really accessible to many people because of what you need to do before you can start posting.

  15. I abandoned this project a while ago but I had not shown any progress besides the alpha footage, so here's this, it's as far as I got. It still has plenty of glitches such as the springs that don't allow you to go back and some collision issues. The point of the game was to collect all of the red rings in order to gain access to the boss. Excuse the video's bad quality.
