Oh, this is actually pretty disappointing...the game is not nearly as finished as it was suggested and this "GM Sonic Worlds" is nowhere near as good as the original (which I suggest you switch to for a much higher quality engine); the effects are tacky and the physics feel like garbage. I get that a lot of heart and soul is being put into this but there are some things hear that need desperately fixing before moving on further into the project.

  8. TRIVIA TIME! The sprites, created by the wonderful Hobbers, are actually based on some ones he did for Lake in Sonic AtS; the sprites were never used but I loved the style so, with a few tweaks and whatnot, Hobbers is creating a new sheet based on the initial style. Also, sorry I've not been posting much guys, but atm we're pausing development to take a break and then resuming after SAGE. As soon as we have something worthy to show off, we'll be sure to post it here!

  11. Actually, Lange, in the engine test level there are platforms of varied height, but as you've said, no slopes.

  15. I think it's possible to get crushed by specific crushing objects, like literal crushers.
  16. This looks great! I may consider getting blender to do a test level when you release this, but I do hope the piss poor framerate is just YouTube. Otherwise, looking good! I'd suggest adding non-solid actives of the rest of the honey combs in front of the loop actives so it looks like less of a honey comb shaped piece of card with a circle cut in the middle.
  17. Got it on Day 1, already broken it. :3 Because FP uses Sonic Worlds as a base but doesn't use the crushing mechanic, anything that would crush you in a Sonic game simply teleports you to the top of it.

I don't has quotes here, but LakeFeperd pretty much once said somewhere that you make fan games for yourself, whether as a learning experience or just because you like doing it; you shouldn't have to do everything people want you to with it; you don't even have to finish it. That said, however, you'll never get anywhere without conviction and devotion; you can start up a Sonic fan game because you want to make one then close it without a single screenshot posted, but all it'll do is show a lack of integrity. I suggest you sit down and rethink why you started Aftermath and if you really want to cancel it; after you've done that, go ahead in the direction that's what you really want; the outcome may surprise you!
  20. It's possible one of you run time extensions are missing or incorrect; did you use the same one that's in your extensions folder? If so, put in the proper mfx file and try building the application again.

  23. Why do people like to use this tileset?! D: It looks like absolute drivel and the fact that there are very little to no custom graphics in this stage indicate a very noticeable lack of originality. I'd suggest you try and make your own (honestly, tiles aren't hard, I promise) using a new pattern that isn't brown and beige checkers. One pattern I've always wanted to see on Green Hill Clone tiles is honeycomb...yum....honey.
