(Question) Classics Badniks in Sonic Colors.

Hello! You have probably noticed that there old enemies in Sonic Colors (Wii/DS), like Motobug, Spiny, Chopper and others. Every Sonic Game always had new things, like new badniks, but in Sonic Colors this routine stopped. I heard sometimes, that Colors and Generations was developed in the same time, Generations was to have appeared on the Wii, but it was canceled, to compensate, Sonic Team has created Sonic Colors, exclusive for Nintendo consoles. And to enjoy the time, they put badniks that would be used in Generations, in Colors too. Is that right? Thank you!
