  1. If I could pick any Sonic level to live in I would choose Apotos. It has beautiful beaches, not to mention good ice cream.

  2. My taste in music is a bit odd because of the combination of music I like could not be further apart from one another. I love video game music, country, techno, J-pop, England Pop, Cartoon Soundtracks and Jimmy buffet (No one said I was a normal person). My top five favorite Sonic albums are, 1. Sonic Generations 2. Sonic Unleashed 3. Sonic Adventure 2 4. Sonic Colors 5.Sonic Adventure/ Directors Cut
  3. Thanks for letting me know guys I appreciate it
  4. A trick I found to work is to look up what the highest level pokemon a gym leader or elite four member has. If you train your pokemon until they are at the same level, you wont get into too much problems. With the elite four, training your pokemon goes alot faster if you train in an area with the highest level wild pokemon. This method of training used to take me forever to get my pokemon to a high level. Until Pokemon Black and White 2 made the Tree Hollow and Black tower (found in the black city or white forest). These places makes training pokemon much easier because you can go through levels while battling strong trainers that will bump up your pokemon's levels quickly while you feel like your acheiving a goal. I hope there is something similar in pokemon X and Y. Oh, I forgot to mention before that I am also starting to play the megaman games. I really liked the Archie megaman comics so I thought it would be cool to try out the games. Its going much better for me than the Nights games are, "Nights, why is the dream world so trippy? Oh no, not another tree!" (Smash)
  5. Yeah, Sonic After the Sequel is definitely a game I intend to play . After listening to the nice soundtrack and looking at pictures of the graphics I was impressed. Making a game is hard enough without trying to capture a Video game legend in the process. But the fans who made Sonic after the sequel were definitely successful. Now I know this is off topic, but I cant find a post where I can find an answer to my question. Are there any other fan games out there with Soundtracks? I've become very interested in the music of the Sonic community because the fans are making some great music out there.
  6. My method for pokemon might not be the best. Its usually good to get games done fast so that you don't lose interest. The only good thing that can come out of drawing out a pokemon is being able to use special pokemon that are given out through the mystery gift way after the games come out.
  7. Since there are a couple classic sonic games I haven't played, I recently thought it would be fun to start over at the first game and work my way up through all the Sonic games. So Im on the Stardust Zone level in Sonic the hedgehog. (It has my favorite Classic Sonic song ). I'm also trying to play the first Nights into Dreams, but i'm having a tough time understanding the goal of the game. Like what Nights is suppose to accomplish and what the controls are for. WHY ARE YOU FLYING IN CIRCLES NIGHTS?!?!?!? WATCH OUT FOR THAT TREE!!!! I'm sure after I read more about the game online I'm going to feel like an idiot for not understanding the game sooner. I'm not gonna give up on it though, because I absolutely love the music for the Nights Series. Other than that I am going to battle Iris for the second time in Pokemon White 2, thus finishing the game (I like to draw out pokemon games for a long time since they don't come out as often as other games.) Im also finishing the Black and White Pokemon Mystery dungeon.
  8. Yeah thanks for telling me about Sonic United, its a really nice place!
  9. Thats a rough situation. School can be a real pain to pay for sometimes, I've been there. I think what can help your situation is to try to not worry or get nervous over the things you can't change. Doing this wont solve your problem, but it will make you feel a little better. It seems like your doing your best to help out with the expenses by getting a job, and in the end the best is all you can do. I think your parents would want you to enjoy school instead of worrying so much.
  10. This is just my personal opinion, not necessarily a critique. But I still kind of like both Sonic adventure titles. Im not the kind of person who plays a video game twice, or read a book more than once. And yet for some reason from time to time I find myself playing some levels from both Sonic adventure games. Especially city escape and twinkle park. Even though the graphics are not up to par with the graphics of today, there is still a certain charm to these games that I find still appealing to this day. I like Sonic, but its also fun playing as other characters like being able to soar through the air as knuckles. I also liked how you could explore environments and find hidden areas in both games. Sonic Adventure 2 was the first game I played, which was also was the first video game soundtrack I ever listened to. Introducing me to the wonderful world of video game music. So I realize that my opinion on the Sonic Adventure Series may be a bit biased. However I do stand by my opinion that it would be nice to be able to play as other sonic characters in future games (not just sport related ones )
  11. I get what your going through. Art is not an easy path to take, because the artist is rarely satisfied with their work. But that dosen't mean you should give up. It means that you must continue down the path of art and keep learning more. I used to be the same way. In art school I would get upset whenever I got a critique too. Heres a trick to make it easier. There are two kinds of critiques, ones that are constructive while others are nasty (people spouting out rude comments that are not constructive). Ignore the critiques full of nasty comments because they mean nothing. And the critiques that are constructive are not meant to be mean, but to make your art grow. I dont know this situation very well, but it sounds to me like this guy was giving you an unfair critique without anything constructive. Not everyone will understand your style, but I assure you that many others will. So keep your chin up and keep drawing.
  12. Hi there, I'm Neon the Hedgehog! I'm really happy to be joining this blog site . I'm not a master of the Sonic games, (there are a few classic games I have yet to play) but I've listened to most of the sonic music out there. So I hope to bring that to the discussions here. I'm an animator who likes to read and write. Plus I can play the piano badly by ear (and yet I still try to play it anyway ). I think this topic is a great way for newbies to introduce themselves and get to know the community. I'm excited to post here.
  13. I gotta say that I never tire of the Sonic Unleashed soundtrack. I know the game itself had mixed reviews, but I still liked its music. I like how even though its music inspired from around the world, it's still one cohesive sound. I also like the Sonic Generations music since its like a history book of all the good sonic music made thus far. If you like the Sonic Adventure 1 soundtrack I suggest you try listening to the Nights into Dreams album since it has the same vibe.
