Heinous Creature

@Acid: That type of unprecedented leap from one emotional state to the other is unusual. It's normal to be in a state of emotion under such circumstances, but to fluctuate to that extent, and so soon is not normal. That doesn't itself mean it's bad, and you could just be particularly good at recovering from a letdown, but emotional fluctuations such as those could be signs of some form of psychological issue. However, it is also the distinct possibility that I am talking crap. So, uh, yeah.

I'm more a casual fan of Star Wars nowadays. The movies weren't half-bad considering, but it is mostly the games from which I derive fondness for the franchise to this day. Star Wars Republic Commando Star Wars Battlefront II Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Some of the most memorable and enjoyable gaming experiences I have ever had were with the above titles. Any Star Wars fans who are gamers, I would advise to give some of them a try. Specifically, fans of tactical/squad-based shooters should give Republic Commando a go, fans of all-out class-based warfare need to play Battlefront, and any RPG fans may be satisfied with Knights of the Old Republic (Other than, from what I've heard, a spectacularly ridiculous ending.) All three are available on the original Xbox, and are backwards compatible with the X360.

A simple sketch I made of Shadow the Hedgehog (And associated elements) as part of a project last year. As for it being an attachment, I've had trouble with image hosting sites and whatnot here in college, so, bleh. Also, yes, I know that the proportions of the logo are off...it has bugged the hell out of me before now.

Care to elaborate?

Crash is a relic of a by-gone age. Which is a shame, because it was a damn good by-gone age. Seriously, I adored Crash 2, Warped, Wrath of Cortex and Twinsanity as far as main series games go. I also thoroughly enjoyed Crash Team Racing and Crash Bash, the latter two being incredible fun when played with friends.

Currently playing BattleBlock Theater, the Behemoth's latest. Currently, I don't think it quite stands up to Castle Crashers in terms of quality (Although the volume of content for an XBLA game is mind-boggling.), but it is certainly fun in it's own right. The stage editor is surprisingly simple but customisable, the narrator is hilarious and the platforming feels fluid. Combat is my least favourite aspect, although it is still functional and I am fond of the room it allows for tactical ploys.

The announcement from yesterday (April 6th) turned out to be the reveal of a new Pokemon. And by new, I mean a hideous perversion of an old Pokemon. New Pokemon Revealed

No-one was saying it *was* an Adventure game, I was saying it was intended as a spiritual successor, which is true. Even if Adventure 3 was coming, that wouldn't have changed the fact that SEGA still developed Sonic '06 with the intent of it spiritually succeeding the Adventure series. Note that I'm in no way insinuating that Sonic '06 IS Adventure 3, simply that even the existence of the latter wouldn't change what the former was intended to be, or is considered. It doesn't have to officially be a 'Sonic Adventure' title to merely spiritually succeed the game series. Hell, Sonic Unleashed is considered to be a spiritual successor to the Adventure games, too. True, however, I was referring more ot the fact that an open discussion regarding Sonic Adventure 3 is generally a disaster waiting to happen on Sonic forums.

Sonic '06 would still have been intended as a spiritual successor to the Adventure games regardless of whether another official Adventure title was announced or not. Hopefully this topic doesn't suffer from the usual fantardishness which tends to manifest around this subject.
