Minecraft hit a 1.0 release recently, and I've been playing it some on peaceful because I like building shit. Makes me miss all the good times we used to have on Smidge's Minecraft server when the game was still in Alpha.

Had all the stories completed on my GCN copy, but I was trying to get the emblems. Metal Sonic is awesome, apparently. Or so I read. I'd like to get another GCN copy cause of the Chao garden. Devil Chaos took a lot of time and effort in SA2B to make, even though it's just an AI pet. I put 'em in SADX and have been trying to do the Chao Races. I can't now because my copy is shit. Welp, I got the DC collection version off of Steam on my Windows part. on my MBP. I hate the framerate though. Wish it'd be faster than, say, 30-40fps. Edit: I agree; Fishing with Big is easy and sucks.

Sonic 06's controls were "OK", but I see it's glitches as being synonymous with the controls in the regards of issues. The scheme (at least for Sonic and Shadow), if nothing else, should be reminiscent of the Sonic Adventure titles. But of course, it was very, very poorly implemented. I'm not saying that the buttons were poorly mapped. The controls themselves were implemented so poorly. Why, if I had a nickel for every time that I, or maybe anyone else has had a problem trying to keep on the beginning path in the first part of Flame Core (aka, trying not to fall into the lava), I'd be pretty fucking rich. And it wasn't just in Flame Core, either. I believe Dusty Desert had some of those problems, too, provided you played with Shadow. Mach Speed then had even shittier controls than the main gameplay itself. If you thought running to the edge or running OFF the edge in the levels was bad, try keeping Sonic on the path in Kingdom Valley's mach speed segment without falling off once. It takes quite a bit to master, unless you somehow have the miraculous ability to overcome shitty controls and actually see where you're supposed to go the FIRST time without referencing a Youtube video on the level. Sonic 06 sucked for a lot of reasons, but for reasons none more so egregious than the controls.

Spoilerception. I'd like to see this game get some PRS, preferably in the means of additional level DLC.

Don't forget all the glitch paths. For example, it was possible to finish Sonic's Flame Core with Knuckles. Aside from the glitches, if they fixed other aspects in the game, it'd have been good in my eyes.

*ahem* Anyways... I've been renting this game from redbox and am considering a purchase. It's pretty good in my eyes. I've been enjoying it, namely for the fan service and nostalgia put into the stage designs. It's neat. So I got past Seaside Hill, played some of the challenge acts. Even got around to the Shadow battle. The attacks you get with the pink orbs are lame. You just run into meteors, making them hit Shadow. And then, once you're close enough, you basically sit on top of him until his rings are gone and have gotten the last hit on him. It's lame. Sadly, the best part of it would have to be the remix of "For True Story". At least that's one thing they got right with it, IMO. That's not to say this game is bad. But that battle just sucked. Speaking of Challenge acts, I think they're kinda fun and quirky. But I'd enjoy them more if they weren't required to get the Boss Keys. Boss keys. Really? >:| I've got two more to get in the DC era before I can face off against Perfect Chaos. I wish I could find the other two, but they just want to be needles in a haystack. Save for the lame Shadow battle and the boss keys, this game isn't all too bad so far. :I

I'm considering it. I was actually going to build a PC for Generations with the hopes that the hardware (that I have yet to buy) will get it to do 60. Input lag on the keyboard does sound like an issue with the game itself, but perhaps it might just be a driver issue, or both. But hey, just my guess here. :/

I won't argue with Candescence. Even with Sonic games, it's a matter of preferences. If he doesn't like it, he doesn't like it. That's cool in my book. No one said you had to like it. @LH: Can't bet black against red all the time, figuratively speaking (Not that I have gambled or will condone it). I bet there will be one game he'll like, eventually. But I'll leave that debate to him. I can't speak on behalf of anyone here but myself. :/

@TailsSena Wi-Fi connection speed is one thing. The Wi-Fi router's internet speed is another. The speed of the internet connection to the Wi-Fi router is what your REAL internet speed is. That, of course, gets transferred to you over your 54mb/s Wi-Fi connection. For example: Let's say your family has standard DSL (350~768kb/s). They set up a Wi-Fi router that transmits your DSL connection over a 54mb/s wireless connection. What you're getting in actual connection speed is your 350~768kb/s. You're just connected to your Wi-Fi router with a 54mb/s connection.

Steam is great for PC download. I have to agree with SG on this: unless you're on 56k, I can't see any reason to not go with Steam. I got some games I'm building a PC for and it looks like I'll get this on Steam. I'd also get the PS3 version if the possibility arises that I won't be able to build the PC.

Chronic! You've managed to get 9 already! Well, I guess you got the easy ones.You're close on X-Men, but let's just say it was one of their more recent outings. Normal Man is completely antonymic, so try again. You're close on Transporter, but we name a particular car feature (a seat, funnily enough) after the answer. Still plenty of them more to go!
