  1. Speaking of trailers, It gives a glimpse of Amon and the Equalists. And from what's there, Amon looks to be a more interesting villain than Firelord --er, I mean, Phoenix King-- Ozai.
  2. Looks like we got a premiere date! April 14th at 11am (No specifics on time zone). Woo FINALLY. >:U I hope the premiere will be worth the wait
  3. What's that? Coney 2012 you say? Seriously, If people wanted to do shit about Kony, they'd have done it YEARS ago. Instead, a shady organization brings it up 7 years later and we have this going on.
  4. Some silly spontaneous idea I had. I just had an idea for the five frames (left all the speech bubbles empty on purpose), but I couldn't capture all of it. No, I do not have a scanner or a tablet. But hey, I tried and got most of it.
  5. I'm saying it could be, but I'm also trying to imply that at the same time, it is also possible that it might not be Dreamhost. :/ Edit: ...Yeah, I'm convinced that it's more than likely a Safari fault. Edit 2: Somehow, the browsers that I use to frequent this site (primarily Safari and Firefox 10 on OS X Lion and IE9 on Win7) are unable to load the page, so something's up with some software on my end. Edit 3: gsoft managed to fix it. Thanks man!
  6. Well, it could, but I'm not calling anything yet. I mean, it's possible that it could be a software error on my end with Safari, but I'm wondering if it could be an error with Dreamhost.
  7. For the oddest reason, I'll occasionally load the General Discussion from Top Sites (in Safari 5.1) and find Ustream open instead of the forum. Has anyone else been having any similar issues?
  8. Sega's released 9 new screenshots (of the same environments that we saw just recently) on their Flickr profile in glorious 1080p. Edit: Also, Sega will be releasing a gameplay trailer next thursday on Gamespot.
  9. No Sereph...they're pulling a 69 with his thing.
  10. Nothing planned today for me, either. Just babysitting my nephew. :/
  11. So it takes THIS LONG to finally get screenshots? ...right, I almost forgot that Balough himself said they were doing the Episode 1 approach to the ad campaign for Epi. 2. Edit: The images were removed from the Marketplace. See Strife's post for a link to the images.
  12. More concept art. From the Sega Blog, a badnik named "Chop Chop". And from Facebook, a "Flip Platform"
  13. Gratuitous Glucose Zone? ... ...I give up.
  14. NO, GOD! …NO, GOD, PLEASE NO! NO! …NO! …NOOOOOOOOOO!!! ...on the bright side, these are "PS3/Vita-exclusive" characters, so I'm avoiding those versions automatically. But I wish I knew whether or not TrollMan and Pac-Mech are going to surface in the 360 version. Sure, Capcom's saying they're PS3/Vita-exclusive, but I'm not too sure if they really are exclusive to those two platforms. I'm going to wait post-release on this until I do know.
  15. It simultaneously looks interesting and boring, but I'm still interested enough to want to give this a try when a demo becomes available. I'm eager to see how well they translate the Doctor's features and tools to a platformer.
  16. Varies between 30-20~15ish for me. Ran it in Safari via the web player on OS X Lion. I'll edit this post later on after giving this a try in Windows 7 (x64) Edit (1/24): Fastest up to Simple manages about 60-40fps in 1280x720, and Good and up does ~30fps at the same resolution. C2D @ 2.26GHz 4GB DDR3 RAM NVidia GeForce 9400M
  17. 1.5 year bump! io9's got one of the scenes up. The wait is killing me. Edit: Apparently, this is one of the scenes that were leaked. Edit 2: io9's updated the page to include the other 3 scenes.
  18. ila's arguing your opinion, not bashing you. He's not saying you're stupid; he's saying that yours and Jethawk's notion that all games should be free is flawed. Here's the thing. In a perfect world, every game would be free, but the world is far from perfect. There are people who want to make paid games to make a living, to have an income. Paid games are how we support developers and publishers, indie and 'mainstream' alike. What they get from sales pays for bigger (and sometimes) better games, or it pays the rent or lunch for a month or two. That, or it gets that fancy executive in HQ some pretty killer furniture. Either way, if every game were made to be free, you're killing off more than just a business. You're denying an income for someone, for somebody. What money is there to be made on free games? None. You can't make a living making free games unless you got some other gig to back it up financially. This stuff takes time and effort and it certainly takes money, too.
  19. Edit: Gizmodo says that PIPA's undergone the same treatment.
  20. Hilarious? I'm afraid I see nothing funny about DW's post. If you're doing serious development, then a mobile device is NOT the optimal solution for the job.
