  1. A couple of days ago there was a job listing from SEGA's UK-based Hardlight studio, which is focused on creating games for mobile and portable platforms. "The Studio comprises small, agile teams working on new IP & well-known SEGA IP. Project durations are 5-10 months, building on the success of their first projects on iOS – Sonic Jump & Sonic Dash – Hardlight is now working on some new & exciting projects." Kotaku has now received an actual confirmation from SEGA that the new mobile Sonic title is indeed in development. “At this time, Sega is able to confirm that we are working on a new mobile game titled Sonic Dash. We have not announced any specific details on the product but we will be releasing additional information on this exciting, new game in the near future.” Source: Kotaku
  2. Impressive work Slade. The office is probably my favourite out of the lot.
  3. I'm impressed. It looks great for something that's so early in development. I'm not sure if it's your screen recorder or not, but the game itself looks rather slow? The movement could do with being sped up a bit. Regardless, I'll try out the demo later this evening.
  4. Post feedback and bug findings regarding the main site and forums in this topic. Perhaps you'd like to tell us how we could improve a certain area of the site? Do you have a complaint over a news post on the main site? Or have you come across a bug? Whatever the case, this is where to post your feedback and bug findings.
  5. Jason Griffith is my favourite voice actor for Sonic. Whenever I see Sonic, I picture his voice. However the new Roger guy is pretty good. As for the others, I'm not too sure. But the voice Tails had in Sonic Adventure 2 is definitely my favourite.
  6. I planned on picking up the first one, but never got round to it. Seeing as my Wii U library is quite small, I will most likely pick this one up this time.
  7. This is currently my favourite Sonic track. It fits the level perfectly. I find myself playing the stage just to hear the music at times.
  8. That's quite the introduction Welcome to Sonic United.
  9. It sounds interesting. I'll try it out sometime.
  10. I can't say I have a favourite. Sometimes I love pop, other times rock, electropop, jazz. It varies. I rarely listen to video game music. About once per month I'll look up a few Sonic tunes, but that's it.
  11. I'm now playing Batman Arkhan City Armoured Edition. I'm having a blast with it. The amount of detail they have put into everything is fascinating. There hasn't been a dull moment so far, but I'm still pretty early into the game.
  12. I'll check it out when it's released, and probably do a few posts on it. It looks well made for the most part.
  13. Shadow the Hedgehog is my favourite character in the series. I find his design, personality, and back-story to be well crafted for the most part. I was introduced to the series in 2005, the same time Shadow the Hedgehog was released. While I didn't like the game very much, I found Shadow himself to be very interesting. I'm not sure who I'd pick as my second favourite character. It's a tie between Tails and Knuckles.
  14. Welcome to Sonic Redux. Thanks for joining
  15. I'll check this out. I haven't tried the new version of the game yet.
  16. What's the most memorable Sonic game to you, and why? I'd have to go with Sonic Heroes. It's the first Sonic game I've ever played. I came across a PC demo for the game and had to try it out. I really enjoyed it at the time. Then a few months later I picked up the full version, which then got me into checking out the other titles in the series. I have a lot of good memories of playing the game too. Something I can't say I've had a lot of with the other Sonic games in the series. It's not my favourite Sonic game, but I'd have to say it is the most memorable experience I've had with a Sonic game so far.
  17. Welcome to the forums guys! Expect to see gaming tournaments and all kinds of content posted here soon.
  18. I'm playing through Sonic Generations and Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) for the Xbox 360 right now. I'm surprised by Sonic Generations level design. I'd say it has the best level design for a 3D Sonic game with all of the open spaces, alternative routes, and hidden areas. I just wish there was more to do in the game overall as the story mode lasts for about 2 hours roughly. I'd still rank it as one of my favourite 3D Sonic games though.
  19. Looks like a solid start. I can see this turning into something great.
  20. What do you think of the recently released Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed? I'm personally having a blast with it. I don't think it's quite as good as the first, but it's still great. My most used character is Shadow. I can't say what my favourite track is as I haven't played them all yet. I own it for the Wii U. Just send me a personal message if you'd like to race sometime.
  21. I've never actually heard of it up until now. Though the description you gave was interesting. I should check it out sometime. I'll probably like it judging by what I've heard of it so far.
  22. I'd like something that's a bit longer to complete and more challenging the most. Sonic Team have said they are aware of recent games being too short, so I expect the length of the next game to be longer at least.
  23. I've surprisingly not played many Pokemon games. I've mostly never had a chance besides the rare occasions at a friends house when I was younger. I'll certainly pick up the next handheld title when it comes out. Pokemon seems like a good series overall.
