    I've moved onto Sonic Unleashed for the PS2. I'm about half-way through the game. It's alright I guess.

    Yeah. Though I believe that the controversy was settled. The game has no issues at this point.

    Just in case anyone hasn't already seen it, there was footage posted of the new Sonic 1 a week ago.

    The status updates share the same general guidelines as the rest of the message board. The status updates are there for users to quickly share what's on their mind. It can be used as frequently as wanted. If you are receiving a lot of notifications from the status updates, then you must have changed your notification settings in your profile area; as by default users don't receive notifications for newly posted status updates. Simply go to your profile settings, then hit notification options to reconfigure them

    Sonic the Hedgehog 2 HD is an unofficial fan remake of the 1992 SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive classic Sonic the Hedgehog 2 using up to date graphics with a few new novelty features here and there. The graphics have been completely remastered in pure HD. Also new features planned were online multiplayer, playable Knuckles, and a few extra levels. It looks fantastic and it plays fantastic. It's one of the best fan games I have played. It's really a shame that it was cancelled. It had a lot of potential. If you wish to try out the demo yourself, click here.

    I got my hands on the game just over a week ago. I now have unlocked Tails and Amy. The game is alright for what it is, but I definitely prefer Subway Surfers.

    It looks pretty good. I'll probably get a chance to play it at a friends house, as I don't own a PS3.

    It's an interesting interview. I have mixed thoughts on the "7-11 year olds is the strongest age group who love Sonic" bit.

    Neo Sonic Univese is a fan game created by Alexandre Martins released in 2003. It was advanced for its time. Most fan games around then used the built in Multimedia Fusion movement template which stuck to walls, but Neo Sonic Universe runs on a custom engine template and plays smoothly. Despite lacking 360 degree movement. The game has two modes. Adventure mode and battle mode. Adventure mode is basically just a regular platformer, and battle mode is where you can fight against other Sonic characters. There's not too much to say about the battle mode. In adventure mode you are on a quest to save Sonic's friends from a creature who has taken Shadow's form. Sonic is the only playable character at first, and you must save Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Shadow in order to play as them. This is done by completing each character's story. If you finish Sonic's story you'll unlock Tails, if you finish Tails you'll unlock Knuckles, and so on. This game was ahead of its time, and despite being almost a decade old it still plays somewhat decently today. If you are interested in fan gaming, then I suggest checking this out.     I suggest making releases like this standalone exe's. It's never a good idea to release installers, especially for beta versions. As for the game itself, all it seems to be is an out of place sprite swap of the Sonic Worlds default stage. It just seems way too early at this point to be released. I wish you well with your fan game, but I don't have much to say at this point.

    I'm playing through Some Time Attacked at the moment. It has stood the test of time in my opinion. It has helped inspire me to come up with some zone concepts for my fan game. I also plan on playing through Sonic Heroes again once I can get hold of another PS2 copy. I recently lost my original copy. I've searched high and low for it.

    My favourite art style is the cartoony style from the early 2000's. It fits the series perfectly in my opinion. I definitely prefer the older cartoony style over the current Pixar style.

    Sonic XG has been in the works for many years. It was originally a standalone game, then merged with Sonic Nexus and Retro Sonic, and now back to a standalone game. Sonic XG stands for Sonic Extended Genesis. It's a fan sequel to Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The gameplay is similar to that of the classics, but adds a few new gimmicks here and there. It's one of my favourite fan games, and I look forward to the upcoming new version of the game.     Source: Gamespot Hopefully they can all find new jobs that they enjoy. There seems to be quite a lot of closures lately in the video gaming industry.

    Fantastic review. Great effort. The first time I played it was back in 2005 I believe. I play it every now and again. It's still pretty fun, and I get a lot of enjoyment out of the online multiplayer. Hopefully a new version is released soon. It has been a while since the last update.

    We are due for a main game this year. It would be odd if we don't get one. SEGA usually releases a main game at least once every 2 years.
