  1. Version 2.0 by dem0 UPDATED 15.10.2014 This isn't exactly a fangame, but an application that's very useful in fan game development. Everyone who has worked with Mario, Sonic or other fangames and used sprite sheets by 3rd party probably has grown grey hairs while carefully cutting and pasting and aligning sprites because they weren't aligned at all or in some form that you didn't want to. I definitely have, and so I made this. SpriteCut is an application which makes creating organized sprite sheets from big messy collections easy! Features: - Give your settings and create sprite sheets by just clicking at the wished sprites and they will be automatically parsed and organized into the sheet being created for you to edit according to your wishes! It's that easy! And they will be automatically aligned pixel by pixel so no more twitching in Paint because they weren't aligned and animation was messy. - Process the whole image or parts of it with just a press of a button! All sprites inside will be automatically processed. - Test animations - Edit sprites by mirroring, rotating, resizing or duplicating - Render final image as .bmp This is a great tool for those who make sprite sheets for others to use, too! Screenshots and download can be found in Mario Fan Game Galaxy's forums! I also post updates and answer questions there so I have it concentrated in one place! http://forums.mfgg.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=16336 Examples: For example, with just a few clicks and keypresses, you can turn this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/75020308/spritecut/8728.png to this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/75020308/spritecut/2.png or this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/75020308/spritecut/4230.png to this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/75020308/spritecut/4.png or this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/75020308/spritecut/8730.png to this https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/75020308/spritecut/3.png

  2. Theres something about the disney-like style to the characters that really makes me like the designs though, but compared to the main cast's redesigns, the new characters look a bit jarring lol.

  3. So, here's this blend file. The most you could probably do is add enemies, rings, and level desgin.. because the logic, while poweful isn't enough to hold variables and call from such, so after Reboot on to learning this python stuff: https://www.mediafire.com/?v0n7gz7pf8hw837 -> One with level design http://www.mediafire.com/download/985sye0vc5f7u7r/SAGEngine.blend -> Just the plain engine So I'm sorry this couldn't be amazing or polished or even truly finished but I just don't have the knowledge to do much with it yet. Gladly it wasn't a hyped a project It's a fun little play though. Video: (I don't know what's going on with the recoreder)...

  4. Welcome to the Internet. I'm impressed, but what else can you expect? They're fast. I have nothing remarkable to say about the designs. Considering what we've seen of the game already, I'm not expecting something decent. The animated show might turn out nicely, though.

  5. Me thinks it would be wise for someone to edit the first post with a list of links to everyone's Deviant Art page

  7. This game was SO soso cool! ^ ^ The heart, the passion, the real difficulty! The cutscenes and the voice acting were superb also! I'm so happy to have worked on this game! Everyone who wants to try it: Not only will you love it, but it will blow your expectations out of the water! It feels like a game I definitely could have played when I was little (but wouldn't have made it very far so I'd have to watch my brothers or my dad beat it XD) It really is the return of the 90s mascot platformers. . . <3

  8. I made the trailer and made sure it was maximum hype lol. I can answer most questions if you have any. To cover some common ones right away: It can't be ported to consoles right now because of CF's limitations, but I've heard Android and Vita are somehow possible and those are strong possibilities in the future. Non Steam and Mac versions should be coming soon if all goes well. The game could be consider finished, but we're still going on it. Milla will have an adventure mode soon. There's some sprites left to be done, I'm still doing sounds and some graphics, and Strife continues to fix bugs. There's also some more features planned. There's going to be an expansion at some point that adds Spade and Torque as playable characters, and possibly a few other neat features. It'll be free DLC.
