  1. Very nice, Highwire. It's looking more and more like an actual Sonic level. The green definately helps the contrast. Maybe you should also let yourself inspire a bit by the various industrial themed zones, like Oil Ocean or Metropolis, to spice it up a bit, objectwise

  2. Thanks Gear! You brought up a good point with the amount of color on screen so I've brought in another color into the level's pallet to act as a neutralizer. I'm still tweeking the greens, but what do you guys think? Think it works? I also solved my little level design problem by just moving path three up. It flows pretty nicely now. @Kessler: So is Amy a playable thing now? Can she do anything special or? @Gear: Yeah the lava background does need some smoke or something. Not sure how you'd do that using parallax stuff tho. Perhaps if you posted up a screenshot of what the original level looked like it could be a little helpful since it IS a recreation. EDIT: Found it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDZ09s2efPc The original level has blue skies, thus why its in his level. Don't want to deviate too far from that, but some changes can happen I guess

  4. I think I'm gonna write a walkthrough for the game later...with a better >.> map and stuff...I can do that right? I had the XP bar glitch on the 5th emerald too. It isn't broken though. It fixed itself when I got the 6th.

  5. So I was emerald hunting and got 5/7 emerdoods, but suddenly my xp bar for plain sonic is at zero? I think I'm gonna write a walkthrough for the game later...with a better >.> map and stuff...I can do that right?

  6. Thank you very much Overbound and Highwire4! I will gladly participate in SAGE 2014. I 'd like to show this one little project in SAGE 2014 aswell, a video game starring me and my brother: The Great Normal Brothers (Codenamed "Yuri Sisters). It's a parody of The Mario Brothers and The Great Giana Sisters. I've been working on this game for 5 years as a hobby (2009-present), and only a 40% is complete. As you can see, this game has calendar-activated features (like Christmas NiGHTS) The storyline is about two brothers (Me, and my brother Antonio) who get stuck on their own video game for some unknown reason, and they must avoid that their counterparts (Vladimir and Alexander) get in the real world and dominate it by taking our position in the real world. We must pass through all the levels to find the door located at the game's end "of the world" (The black level shown below) Each brother has 6 different worlds with three levels each one (36 levels), plus some special calendar-activated campaigns. I've completed 12 playable levels so far. I've put a lot of love and programming into this video game. Love and programming is the best combination ever. EVOLUTION OF THE FIRST LEVEL THROUGH THE YEARS (2009-2013)
