A new digital comic which will be a prologue to Sonic Frontiers has been announced. Prologue: Convergence is the first part and will release October 18, 2022. The second and final part set to be released at another unknown date. It has been clarified the prequel animation which features Knuckles the Echidna is still set to be released.
