Shortly prior to Sonic’s anniversary next month, a new Sonic Central event has been announced for May 27th featuring “upcoming projects, partnerships, and events” for Sonic’s 30th anniversary.
It’s possible we might see new game announcements at the event. Recently, there have been quite a few leaks from retailers. Sonic Colors Ultimate was leaked, along with a new Sonic collection.
SEGA HARDlight has also teased game announcements for the stream. SEGA HARDlight are the main developers behind Sonic mobile titles. Sonic Dash was a huge success, so no doubt any future titles from them will be worth downloading.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has also posted a reply, telling you to save money. Likely referring to upcoming games. This likely means there will be some sort of new Sonic arcade game, or a cameo in a future Yakuza/Judgment title, or that the studio will be working on a new Sonic game.
