Sonic Spinball Planned to Release for PC

SEGA’s social media team discovered cover art for an unreleased PC port of the SEGA Genesis spin-off; Sonic Spinball. SEGA Forever posted the cover art and stated “While Sonic CD and Sonic & Knuckles made it to the PC, it appears Sonic Spinball was also planned for a port in 1995!”

No other details have been revealed in regards to as of why the port didn’t receive a release. SEGA Forever did detail how other SEGA Genesis titles such as Ecco the Dolphin and Comix Zone received enhanced re-releases as part of the SEGA PC series, so it’s possible the PC port of Sonic Spinball would’ve received similar enhancements.
