Sonic Speed Simulator Announced

Gamefam Studios has announced a new officially licensed Sonic the Hedgehog game developed exclusively on the Roblox platform titled Sonic Speed Simulator which is an online multiplayer game featuring several open world locations from the Sonic franchise, including Green Hill Zone.

You can unlock official Sonic the Hedgehog character skins and exclusive items for your Roblox avatar, including Chao in-game. Playable characters include Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles “Tails” Prower, and Knuckles the Echidna. The objective is to collect Chaos Orbs to level up and increase speed. SEGA has helped with the production of Sonic Speed Simulator so the title is accurate to the franchise.

When you get the speed, this game feels like Sonic. That is something our producers, designers, and animators know how to do, but we needed Sega’s expert Sonic guidance on it.

Roblox is free to download and play on Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android. While Sonic Speed Simulator does not currently have an official release date, you can pay to play the closed beta using the in-game currency for 50 Robux.
