So a few days ago someone leaked screenshots of Sonic Project Hero.
Hero on the recent leak and new direction of Sonic Project Hero.
These screenshots are real and were taken from earlier builds.
The leak also mentions and shows major changes that were done to the project.
The project’s framework has been restarted, meaning some features are cut, and some are yet to be reimplemented.
It’s worth mentioning that the project’s overhaul is a result of figuring out a clearer direction and identity for the game – we now have a better and more focused vision on what we want to do with Project Hero,
and it’ll only improve as time goes on.
Project Hero will most likely not participate in this year’s SAGE. However, you can expect more frequent updates on the project from us, as we’re very close to satisfaction with the key gameplay elements and may soon be able to move on to working on new features and components, as well as polishing existing ones. We’re also planning an in-depth video showcasing the exciting new and fresh features of this changed version of project.
The update was followed by a few new screenshots of the project, which is now classic-styled.
