Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages adventures onto Nintendo Switch Online
by Brian Pope July 28, 2023 0 commentsThe Nintendo Switch Online service had a stealth update that included The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages added to it’s catalog of Game Boy Color games.
Originally released in 2001 for the Game Boy Color, Oracle of Seasons and Ages are dual Zelda games that sees Link make his way to distant lands as he tries to save Din in Seasons and Nayru in Ages. These were popular titles made on the same system as Link’s Awakening but still had enough difference between the titles to warrant a playthrough of each. In a cool twist, players that complete both titles can access content that was originally hidden behind each game’s ending and a link cable, all connecting these games to the overall Zelda narrative.
Both of these titles can be played on the Switch Online service, which costs just $20 a year. There are also ports of the NES games, as well as Link to the Past, and the critically acclaimed Nintendo 64 Zelda titles.
