Anyways, I have a really random request, but I hope one of you could solve my dilemma (preferably a 360 owner!). Basically, my 360's video output died a month ago. I've tried to get it repaired but to no avail, so I have a new one en route to me. However, this will not be in time to get Carcassonne for free off XBL, which is tomorrow. My 360 still works fine apart from the video display, so I have a cunning plan to try and download the game. Could any of you possibly work out exactly what buttons and how many times I need to press them to get me to download Carcassonne without me ever actually being able to see the TV display from the default menu position when I power the console on? All I need is a quick list like left 3 times, A twice, down 3 times etc. etc... If anyone could posssibly undertake this quick task for me, I would be eternally grateful. Also, I have no idea if the US marketplace differs considerably from the UK one in terms of the XBLA section but it's worth a try anyway. Thanks in advance. EDIT: And if anyone could give me a quick guide to clear my active downloads list so nothing else stops it downloading (from the default cursor position again), that would be handy too! Keep in mind, this is off of a US xbox..soo yea If carcassone is free as you say, it should go through that way, but the menu might change if it's free tomorrow. Is this a UK only thing?? I have a VGA cable and a component cable, and neither work >_< EDIT: I think that worked perfectly - the 360's gone into standby download mode. Also, I hope that they don't bring anymore timed downloads out soon because the person who I just bought a new 360 from on eBay has suddenly become an unregistered user, so I can imagine he's probably just stolen my money.
