    Sonic XG has been in the works for many years. It was originally a standalone game, then merged with Sonic Nexus and Retro Sonic, and now back to a standalone game. Sonic XG stands for Sonic Extended Genesis. It's a fan sequel to Sonic 3 & Knuckles. The gameplay is similar to that of the classics, but adds a few new gimmicks here and there. It's one of my favourite fan games, and I look forward to the upcoming new version of the game.
