thanks for the feedback guys. Ok this is the final version of the track with some laid vocals by muahhh recorded last night and mixed today :-) and final edits in the instrumental. hopefully ppl like it because if so I'm gonna get a video shot for it before summer i dont know. Oh and I'm a unicorn 8-)

Of all the possible topics for a rap song, none annoys me more than rapping about the topic of being a rapper.
Yeah it is pretty all bad. At least it was a freestyle though. I think if it was written it would be sooo bad.
And Charles Hamilton is good but I think he didnt execute the whole Sonic thing as good as other rappers could of. Charles Hamilton did make a movement though.

I was skimming through local hip-hop acts in my city and I found this guy who goes to my school who did a freestyle with another rapper on this beat sampling the boss theme from Sonic the Hedgehog on SEGA Genesis. Its pretty dope and funny at the same time in terms of what they're talking about. Check it out! Its called "The One Freestyle feat. Dak"

My best memory has to be when I got my Sega Genesis when I was 6 years old for Christmas. I got two games: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Madden 98(I believe). I remember loving that Sega chant when I first turned the game on. I also remember not being able to beat the game because I was stuck on Carnival Night Act 2 on that stupid floating platform thing. It took me 8 years to beat that level and that was on Sonic Mega Collection. And man did I feel sooo stupid when I found out that you had to move the D-Pad Up and Down until it goes all the way down.

Good things: lots of games, better graphics.
Bad things: Red Ring of Doom, a good many of its games have a PC port, or are multiplatform.
Wii
Good things: innovative gameplay.
Bad things: casual stupidity, lots of games don't use the Wii's full potential.
I would personally buy a Wii since it has more game's I'm interested in. But that's just me.
Well actually the red rings of death thing is really happening anymore now that Microsoft has made the console better. And this change happened in July, 2007. The only way of it happening like it used to is if your 360 is cluttered. I've played mine one day before for at least 10 hours and it was barely heated.
Personally I like the 360 better. It has far better games and graphics, and features. To me Wii will never be like the N64 which I still play to this day. While N64 didn't have the biggest library of games, it did have some of the best.
So I would highly suggest a Xbox 360.

I doubt this would come out to top other handhelds. I don't even like PSP like that but PSP is probably wayyy better that this.

Its been 3 months since I last started a topic to check out a song that I wasn't sure about. From that day till today, I've been working very very hard on my craft of hip-hop production. If you didn't already know by now I'm originally a pop and R&B producer, and wanted to try hip-hop. Well I got a hella lot better to the point I have over $1,000 in my paypal account for sold beats.

Pretty nice. I like when people make media players for some reason. I guess because it can always be upgraded in terms of features and the User Interface. Wow what am I talking about....(rhetorical question)

Your game looks very good. The frequent loops is kind of repetitive. A little bit of work would make this level enjoyable to the max.

Hi, I'm asking what you guys think of this new song I made. I am really a R&B and Pop producer but I have a friend who wants to make his way into a career in hip hop after he graduates from college. So I told him I will help him make it by making all his productions or some of them. This is a hip-hop production which I am kind of new to since like I said I am really a R&B and Pop producer, so I have hardly no knowledge on how to make a great modern day hip-hop production. So before I give him this song I need to know if it sounds right, nothings off beat, and it is easy to listen to. So thats why I'm asking you guys to listen to the whole track and tell me what you think of it.
A little bit about the production:
The bassline and chorus was sampled from a old 80s song by Ronnie and Debra Laws called Very Special. All I did was chop up the parts I needed, speed up the pitch of the original song and put them together in FL Studio 7 XXL Edition and play my own drums over the track.

Yeah, I do have to work on the level design I am thinking about finding another person who is good in level design because I am not that good in level design at least in a Sonic game I'm not. I know how you should design a level for a Sonic game since I played old Sonic games on the genesis for hours and weeks before making this game it just doesn't come out right when it comes down to the level being done.

Well high school graduation for me is over so now I have more time to work on this side project of mine. This is a game where you play as Shadow the Hedgehog through 6 stages fighting a boss at the end. The story is told through fully animated cutscenes. This game has the genesis classic style with a little bit of modern moves like wall jumping, grinding, and chaos control.
Chaos Control:
When near a enemy you can press the C key to teleport to the enemy's position. You can use this technique to go through walls or floors as well. You can activate it when air falling or you can repeatedly do the move after attacking an enemy while in the air.
HINT: When you come across in the level where it looks like its a dead end. Look up and down to find you way out.
Controls:
Move Left and Right - Left and Right Arrow Keys
Jump - Z Key
Grinding - X Key
Chaos Control - C key

This game has some good graphics. I like that intro cutscene as well. Even the MS aliens fit pretty well which is kind of weird,lol. But the thing that ruined this game for me was the terrible enemy placement.

For a cutscene you could just use a particle if you are using GM. I am too lazy but if you look up the Shadow the Hedgehog sheet by Cylent Nite at the bottom of the sheet should be a smoke sprite if I can remember correctly.
