So basically your transparently blending images together? Looks nice though.
-
Dude, that looks brilliant! Did you code that or did you make it in flash or something?
-
Interesting style you got there dude. Looks very shall we say, bubble'y?
-
He's still in space yeah, what makes you think Eggman's base is the only base?
-
You did get permission to use that (SonicRetro (sonicretro.org project) Sand and SonicNexus Water right?
-
What makes you think he's in Eggman's Base?
-
I'm just gonna leave this here

Needs... scenery...
Looks like my grass + my resized background. Doesn't look too bad though.

Nice work guys. I think I may give one a go now... xD
-
Sure, I'd love to have them.
Where exactly are they from? O.O

I just did this little thing for people who want to use this or finish it off for their own splash screens.
The font I used was NiseSonicBattle

Cleberson: Loving what you have dude keep it up. I wish I knew how to make the effects you have.
Shinbaloonba: I'm going to use it for a Project!

Just for the hell of it, did I make that engine per chance?

Thanks for the thread link.
Thanks for reminding me, had to upload a fixed version that corrects a very stupid bug with pinball bumpers. Download link, please mirror instead of hotlink.Weren't rolling tubes present in 1.2b? [qimg]http://holenet.info/junks/SA_emotes/emot-psyduck.gif[/qimg] All I put in was pinball bumpers... oh and lava from a very archaic public build of Sonic Worlds.
All I can say is that it is currently on hold while the example level is being redesigned to better showcase the functionality of the engine.
Gonna check it out now, oh and before I forget... SonicWorldsDeltaV1.2c.7z to stop hotlinking (may be used as permanent link if need be). Also, can't wait to see this new build. It'd be nice to see a fresh layout too considering the amount of times I've seen this same layout over and over again.
This background [qimg]http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/24/40932606.png[/qimg] is suitable for this [qimg]http://img839.imageshack.us/img839/136/82902102.png[/qimg]If you could make it so it has a sense of depth it looks much nicer since the perspective of the water does not fit the mountains at all. It makes my eyes confused when trying to distinguish the distance of the farthest water and the far green/mountains. Try some gradients with light blue to dark blue. This will give it some more depth. Also, sticking to a similar colour scheme may help. Maybe try looking at some official Genesis pallets.

Obviously you can do that, but for people who just to straight up want to use MP3's, this is a good solution for them now. Not everyone knows or has the time/patience to covert all there music files to .ogg. I know a lot of people who still use mp3's in there games.
Besides, it's better to know this feature can now exist.
-
This is directed people who use either TF2/MMF2. You know how you have to use Directshow or some other extension to play mp3's? Well, my and my friend zodemon have found a file type that MMF2 recognizes that'll enable this possible in normal MMF2 after looking into MMF2's core and seeing that it shows signs of information on a LameConMP3 conversion.
Simply download this file
Place it in "DriveLetter:\LocationFolder\Multimedia Fusion 2\Filters\Sounds"
Once that, restart MMF2 if open already and simply do a regular:
Start Of Frame > Play Sample File (Select mp3) or the regular way
(Haven't tried it yet to know if it works the regular load wav way.)
You can do the same thing in this as you can do with .wav .ogg or .it files such as:
Appdrive$+Appdir$+"\SongName.mp3"
Or in sub folders
Appdrive$+Appdir$+"\Data\Music\SongName.mp3"
Just make sure the music file is in the correct folder or in the same folder as the mfa/exe you save.
That's about it, just thought i'd let you guys know because this has troubled me ever since I first opened up MMF2.
Peace!

I don't ever remember seeing a build released by Techokami. Whatever happened to this supposed new one that Lark & McKaosu teased not long ago?
-
Asuma, you did notice it says LC which I'm guessing means "Level Collab" right?
-
Shading on the grass doesn't match the rest and it definitely needs a form of depth. Like a shadow for example and maybe some more variation of emboss/nonemboss.
-
Nice to see it has it's own little home now.

SonicCD tiles + Labrinth? Awesome!

You have no idea how loud my laugh was to that reply.

Aspect ratio between Sonic and the gimmick is crazily off. What gives?

That can't be legit because Sonic's angle is going with the entire level....Why is this?
Also, $100 to anyone who can sucessfuly make a Sonic1 special stage in MMF2.
Prototype Day/Night system MMF2.
