That's cool
-
Can release a version of this through MMF2 please? Cuz' my comp doesn't like TGF and the sounds start to bug out eventually and make it impossible to play =\
-
I think this is seriously good.
And for quite a few reasons; actually.
Firstly the fact it's NOT 360. These days I was under the impression that if you're going to make a Sonic game it's GOT to be 360, otherwise it'll be dismissed - but you've proved that by just using a Static engine you can actually put together a really good a playable Sonic game (AND IT'S TGF ROCK ON). I'm in the situation where I know Static and MMF inside out - but I just don't know or can't grasp 360 >=[ So I'm going to do what you've done if I make a Sonic game. Use a nice static engine.
But with that a side - I have to say this is REALLY playable! It's great! Lovely menu, and well meshing graphics on all levels. Great editing and recreation. You've given nice touches of your own and created cool level designs with stuff that makes each level it's own (Like the rolling ball) Pwnaaage ma' man.

Happy Christmas dudes I got an Xbox 360 with Sonic The Hedgehog at last. (And some other games)
And my God ! Sonic The Hedgehog ... Just like Sonic Adventure has an engine, a camera and graphics that suck XD (But I still wub my Sonic <3)
Also! £60, DVD's, Guinness World Records 2008, and a new head set. Not fogetting food and beer. (and a new wallet lol)
I think that was all ... ? Still pretty good pickings I say for 17.
-
I don't think it's that "badass"...
Nah, I'm just kidding Pwnaaage.
-
Dark Team, Hoj, read the damn spolier before you start flipping out. God.
yeeeeeah
-
That looks like shit! I mean, that's the worst Sonic sprite I've ever seen! What idiot made that?
too far !
-
Damn school! I hates it.
-
I think all that G-100 (Drill guy lol) needs is bolder outlines really.
Are there any engine tests for this game? Cuz' that video is fkin' eggpawnage.
-
Hoj, your project reminds me of Sparks'/Snowflakes' "Scott I" game. I like the simple style both he and you take.
Where can I see this "Scott I" game? Sounds interesting =]
As for the simple style, it helps me concentrate more with other matters such as the engine and gameplay. I find that if I do anything too complex graphically, I usually don't spend enough time on the engine and give up =\
My only gripe would be that the skulls are way too detailed compared to the rest of the artwork.
Yeah, I'm not sure why I didn't notice that to be honest.
-
Enough about the leaves xD I think he should just have falling palm trees instead now
Anyway, your game looks pretty interesting. Got a nice and solid visual style.
Thank you very much I think I'll post a demo soon. Even though the story is spazzy.
-
Grinding in MMF? That's like just making something happen differently under certain conditions...
-
yeah you're right >=] but there's still clouds in the spring! & what about falling blossom? (Yeah I can't imagine a palm tree with blossom).
anyway, you big critics! I suppose I'll post up some screenshots myself. My game doesn't quite hit your standards I don't think, but it's got a flawless engine, and all custom sprites and backgrounds (Ecxept the skulls which are edited...)
Go eaassyys okay. It's just for fun
-
What was the price of all this?
Sounds like a half decent computer
-
'could enterage this. Indeedie. Sounds fun.
-
Huepow00, that's pretty blinding! F'whack that in photoshop and tone down the saturation. Then add some atmospheric clouds and falling leaves or something.
-
Why's that robot dude called Egg "Pawn" ?
And that bottom character; the drill guy, his shading doesn't seem to fit with Sonic - it's not bold enough.
Other than that, soundies maaate they pwn.

This has made my day! This looks absolutely fantastic! The graphics are awesome, I love how home-made they look, but how good they look at the same time - you have some talent sir. Thanks for sharing the progression from 2009 - 2013, helps motivate those of us that give up in that "2009 stage", where it doesn't look too good. A lot of people say "KEEP AT IT, and you'll get good results in the end". This is a perfect example of that. NICE! Any game play footage or demos? Or more pictures?
Oh, and how are you creating the graphics? Just using the MMF editor? And do you use a set palette or just any colours?
