  1. You're forgetting Splatoon. A shooting game that looks fun and colorful without goddamn HATS! I hope it has local splitscreen... Please.
  2. Okay, that was different than usual. Let me start saying that we do have minors visiting this site most likely, and that kind of content isn't exactly very safe. I'd like you to drop the predictions that you're going to be getting banned because we only do that when there's blatant rulebreaking, and we're pretty lenient on that. Most of us had previous experiences with DRAMATIC AS HELL Sonic (and others) boards, and we really don't want that to take over this place. Now, if SSMB staff sent you such a ridiculously offensive message, then I've been giving that place too much credit. What a shitty place. I've seen your art thread and frankly I think it's cool, especially that Thumbs Up Sonic. Art is not measured objectively like how you decide who wins a Scrabble game where the player with the highest points wins. It's subjective, and as such doesn't have a clear way to define. Therefore, first of all, STOP comparing yourself to other artists. That 14 year old might just be more dedicated to drawing. Hell, my little brother draws a lot better than me. The world of artists (especially DevianTART) is a mishmash of several kinds of people. There are those who just draw for fun, the professionals that work on projects, and those who just like to feel superior to others by resorting to insults. Better to ignore them. I see you've been doing that by blocking all kinds of comments in your page already. To improve on your art, I can only tell you to keep doing it. Whenever you're bored, doodle something. And just stop comparing your works to other people's. Keep drawing and uploading your art in your thread, we're always open to seeing some new stuff. Lastly, welcome to SFGHQ/United. We're not your typical SANIC FANNNNNNNNNNS forum. In fact most of us already hate Sonic at this point.
  3. Live action + CGI AHAHAHAHAHAHAH GOD They should just scrap it and make a COLDSTEEL THE HEDGEHEG film. http://vocaroo.com/i/s0jxVSFZn0zd COMING THIS SUMMER! seriously give that recording a listen
  4. Sawano's making the music? AWESOME. (Mitsuda's work on Xenoblade was amazing as well, though) I'm hype for XenobladeX ChroniclesXX X:EDITION and the new Zelda. As for the rest, it's alright. Oh, and Bayo 1 included in the Bayo 2 disc. Sounds nice, but the box art should really fix that indicator, it gives a "Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry Series" vibe. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this E3. Microsoft showed us they did make a GAMES console after all. Ubisoft had interesting things here and there, but EA was a snorefest full of le epic memes xD - they get the 'most uninteresting' award this time. They used "Don't taze me, bro". Goddammit.
  5. MMF2 has multiple sound channels, so you can set Music A on channel A and Music B on channel B, then make channel B start playing at 0 volume when A is about to finish (use the compare position expression). Then, gradually reduce A's volume while increasing B's. There was a thread on this before. In fact I'm having some déjà vu here. ^^
  6. Sony's done with theirs. First hour was interesting. When Yoshida said Bloodborne I swear I heard Blood Porn. Second hour was meh, especially in the TV and COMICS and MOVIES sector. *sigh* Playstation TV for $99. Basically a black Vita TV with added PS Now (read: PS3/4 streaming) support. For me, this means being able to play P4:G, Tales of Hearts R and Muramasa on the big screen with a controller (instead of tiny tiny buttons) with the added benefit of not needing to use JP PSN tricks in order to get the Muramasa DLC episodes. Sounds interesting. I've been waiting on the specifications of the HDMI mod for the original Vita, though. If that comes out before, then regular Vita would be the way to go.
  7. Then your problem probably relates to the extension versions, not the MMF2 version. Make sure you got all your extensions updated, both in the /Extensions and the /Runtime/Extensions directories.
  8. Microsoft is supposedly bringing out the big guns with franchise acquisitions. We'll see... They go first, I think it was at 12:30 (Eastern Time/GMT -4). As for Sony, I can predict that absolutely nothing will be shown about Last Guardian. Maybe a vocal mention, but that's it.
  9. RINGS! NOMNOMNOM I can see this getting incredibly annoying very quick. It'd better have a sound config menu with individual voice control. Boss talk isn't so bad, though. I liked Eggman and his refurbished missiles. Colors nailed it with the Eggman quotes around the levels.
  10. Well, Chrono Cross attempted to fix two of your points. First of all, you can run from anything at any time. However, some bosses will just talk a bit and force you right back into battle, but this has the added effect of resetting your elements and sometimes you get the chance to open the menu. As for the grinding, CC made every boss give you a 'star' which counts as a level - this gives you substantial stat increases. In normal battles, you get a minuscule amount of stats (if any). In the end I didn't like this too much, because it makes battles less interesting and worth getting through. Talking JRPGs only (I dislike WRPGs, save for few exceptions), I think today's titles are varied enough to satisfy most players: In the GRINDAN side you have Disgaea and its variants courtesy of NIS (the masters of making games crash). Next up, in the CRAFTAN side you have the Atelier games, which are quite expansive with item creation mechanics. For co-op real time battling, Bamco finally stopped being stupid and actually markets and releases Tales games. Atlus is keeping most of its fanbase busy with SMT and Persona spinoffs (AND FINALLY P5 CONFIRMED FFS). Finally in the bottom of the barrel lies Final Fantasy, which is as interesting as a passing fart for me nowadays. Things that tick me off currently are games with lots of retarded DLC, especially if it's day-one DLC, and poorly tested games (goddamn it, NISA). I think RPGs will greatly improve if they stop being centered on cutscenes and no-input-required engine show-offs. Less DRAMA and CINEMATIC EXPERIENCES coupled with great gameplay and mechanics - that's what should be done.
  11. I can't say much from just this information... But try this: Change the renderer in the application settings to "Standard" (this is the software based old renderer). Objects that require alpha effects will look solid black now, but the game might run correctly. If this is the case, then you probably need to update DirectX, as Worlds uses the DX renderer (which is hardware accelerated).
  12. Perhaps so, but if you can't find any telltale signs such as a blown capacitor or burned trace, I don't think we could find anything else that's odd.
  13. No need to get all up on arms here. I was also going to suggest another TV but I read through the OP a second time. It's always a good idea to do so, you might read something that you skimmed over before. Anyway, we now know with almost 100% certainty that something is going on with the console itself. I see that they recommended you to check on Sega-16 in Stadium... that might be a good idea, since TµEE/Tiido is a regular there, and he's pretty much the Genesis guru. He's here too, but he hasn't checked in for a while.
  14. I'm still thinking about the TV... have you tried different games? It doesn't sound like there is any problem with the video output itself, but I'm not that knowledgeable about the Genesis' innards.
  15. Aika from Eternal Arcadia/Skies of Arcadia. go play it
  16. The following has just been brought to my attention: DUN DUN DUN You can now carry on.
  17. A new character...! And it seems like she's Marine with eight-grade syndrome or something. ...yay.
  18. So I just read the description for the subforum this thread was in... Development of the development... the hell? insert xzibit joke here In any case... moved to Assistance~
  19. I'll keep it in my to-get-next list then. After Xillia 2, that is. I enjoy most of the games that NIS publishes. Nothing tops the two Mana Khemia titles yet, though (kudos to Gust!). I also love Harada's artwork and enjoy Disgaea a lot, but not so much that I go in the post-story part of grinding to insane levels. That's just too much for me. Lucky you to get that delicious artbook...
  20. While I recommend you to skip Drakengard 1 & 2, you should consider getting Nier next. It's connected to one of the endings of DKG1, but it stands alone just fine. I recently got two out of the four endings, and absolutely loved it. Great dub, amazing soundtrack and nice visuals especially in the Seafront town (I dunno why all reviews say the graphics are sub-par - screw graphics whores, they're the second worst right behind the resolution/frames-per-second idiots). How was Witch and Hundred Knight, by the way? Currently I'm BRO-OPing through Tales of Symphonia on the PS3. Getting ready for Xillia 2 in August.
  21. You should try "doodling" something in MMF/GM/Construct or whatever. I think it'd be awesome to see your characters in motion.
  22. Comparing the events to the "good" frame would be too much work. However, do a quick scan and see if any objects are missing in your "bad" frame. Perhaps a deleted object is behind the mayhem. If nothing pops up, consider just grabbing your good frame and rebuild the level.
  23. Alright, let's tackle this. Which Worlds version are you using, and what kind of changes have you introduced to it (e.g. new movements, characters, whatever)? I can see that the circular green sensor is severely misaligned - IIRC that's supposed to be on your character mask. I'll try looking more into the sensors, but hopefully someone that recently worked with SW will know some probable cause.
  24. Uh, that post is kinda old already Taz. Thread seems to be back to the main topic at hand, so let's leave it at that. I agree that the interface shouldn't be too much of a bother in a demonstration. Function takes a priority.
