  1. Not everyone is going to make playable builds every time an update is presented. Screens and videos are a lot better than MY ULTIMATE SANIC FAN GAME text walls with zone lists and character rosters. Properly preparing and finalizing a worthwhile demo is not easy, and it takes time. Lastly, making fangames is now a more complicated affair since the era of built-in platform movement and level graphics made out of lib rips ended.
  2. Each environment has its ups and downs, but one thing MMF does that gives it an extra point for me is Wine compatibility: I can run MMF games on loonax pretty well, but GM is another story entirely. Even running them in Virtualbox doesn't help much. Even MMF2 itself runs nicely in Wine. Still, GM is pretty solid.
  3. The second condition is basically undoing what you do in the first condition. Your first condition correctly adds the 120th part of the total every frame, but your second condition sets DisplayedScore (the value you're adding to) to TotalScore right away, since we assume that DisplayedScore is less than TotalScore. Open the debugger and see how the value behaves. At least this is what I'm seeing here.
  4. Excuse me but I can't stop laughing. Please tell me there's a character sheet or something.
  5. Whoa, what happened with Soft? It looks way too shiny now. We still have a backup of the old CSS, right SC?

Great... I have no updated CSS backup of the new Soft variant. This means I'll have to rebuild it from the Pink Again CSS... unless someone has a local copy of a page saved...

Damn, what just happened here...? I'll have to come back to this later, I need to rest :\

I haven't finished it yet. It's WIP. Please talk to me first before attempting to change/reverse anything. I wouldn't want to lose all my work. We should keep these kind of matters to the staff forum and PM's btw.

  6. What version did this apply to? The original Sega CD had this screen as a cheat code, but the system has no copy-protection whatsoever... so how did it trigger originally?
  7. You're welcome~ Whoa, this solved post thing still uses the default colors in Soft... I have to go fix that.
  8. I've previously discussed the same matter with Jeff and he said the same thing, so don't worry - there's an easy way to get this done. Go to the clickteam forums and create yourself an account. Then, in the profile settings you will find a 'My Product Serial Codes' or something field. Add your serial code to this. If done correctly, you'll get a spiffy MMF2 icon under your name. Once you do this, you have access to the MMF2 owners subforum, where you can redownload the installer anytime you want.
  9. MANKANSHOKUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Looks awesome! best girl next plz
  10. Game Maker tends to behave oddly on newer systems. I remember Sonic Web Access having separate versions for each Windows type. Also moving thread~
  11. Everything is possible, but first we need to know what tool and music playing method you're using.
  12. ila, welcome back. <3 So we have a forum arcade now? This brings back memories from the old IPB 2.0 ***** Boards days... Good to see we're keeping Cometchat, I think it's the most solid choice.
  13. Uh, just a little note here: Sorry, but you can't use HTML in your posts. To embed videos use the youtube tag.
  14. I don't understand your question. Extensions are MFX files, and they may or not come in zip files - that's irrelevant. What does differ is their origin: Some extensions are freely distributable because the authors prefer it that way. Other extensions are part of the Bonus Packs via an agreement with Clickteam - these extensions are ONLY for full versions of MMF2 that are properly registered.
  15. It's a flash game? Go grab Sothink SWF decompiler and use it to jump over whatever you need. That program's very handy to rip sounds/graphics from flash files, or just skip through frames.
  16. Alright, finally. To open the chat manually on a separate tab use this link: http://sonicunited.org/forums/cometchat/modules/chatrooms/index.php

Yeah, I know. We're still trying alternative chats.

  17. I keep seeing 'New Messages' in the tab name but can't find the chat anywhere. What gives? Don't go telling me it doesn't work outside of Windows or it requires a plugin like Java or something...

Try clearing your cache. It should work on all themes.

I feel stupid, and I still can't see this thing.

Just in case, running Chromium here with Flash, but no Java.

Can you show me a screen of how it is, SC?

Alright, I just noticed a weird notif popup in the lower area. I think my browser's bugged and can't display the full bar or something.

      Gotta update, I guess.

  18. Well, then your only choice is to get a legit serial and install MMF2 with it. I wonder if any members here have any remaining serials from the Humble Bundle offer from last year...
  19. Whoa, just read that Freedom Planet is coming out on June 30. Someone get Strife back in here, he's been away for too long ._.

  20. You know spinboxes, right? These are the widgets that have a number on it with two arrows on the side. When I hold one arrow down, the value starts changing at a slow rate, and when a certain time is reached, it changes even faster. I find absolutely no reward or incentive to keep going from this, though. The widget only gets less and less accurate as speed increases. To each their own, I guess. I know it's not the same thing here but I couldn't resist. |3
  21. I fail to see the hooking element in this. In fact, I'm still baffled this exists...
  22. Man, that's stylish. Loving it!
  23. They made a trailer version with the vocaroo audio!
  24. I've been reading that 2 player local might be possible. All source-less claims, so we'll just have to wait for more official info.
  25. Shattering dreams already :[ Press release info says "Players: 4 vs. 4"... and that's it. Sounds bad. Regardless, I still want to see it in action.
