  1. When I typed that post, I just was just playing that game at the time, so I was feeling all "OMGOMG", since I just got it (I played a ROM of the SNES version many years ago at some daycare). Let me rephrase what I said earlier: Yoshi's Island is the best platformer game I've ever played.

  3. I have to say that Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for SNES is the best video game I've ever played. Actually, I've never played that game on SNES. But I have the GBA port XD (It's called Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3).
  4. Yeah, it was pretty stupid how all my Pokemon were like Lv50, and everybody else's was Lv27.
  5. The new trailer shows Kanto at the end of it . It looks bigger than FR/LG.
  6. I hate how they keep glamorizing the PokeWalker. I honestly don't give a shit about the PokeWalker, they should start showing us about the actual game instead of that stupid little device >= O!
  7. Those are the fake ones, they were on DeviantArt. The real one was already posted by 2LT. Anyways. I'm glad they actually did something different with the logo this time. In the US, Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, LeafGreen, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum ALL HAVE THE EXACT SAME LOGO. In Japan it's different for every single game. Now that they FINALLY did something different, I wish they would get rid of that stupid cartoony yellow & blue "Pokemon" logo.
  8. But they made it WAY too low...to the point where Kanto NPCs had Lv27 Pokemon, that was just lame. Also to make a comparison, in FireRed/LeafGreen, the 5th Gym Leader's strongest was a Lv43 Weezing. In Gold/Silver/Crystal, the 8th Gym Leader's strongest was only a Lv40 Kingdra. Johto's final Gym being outleveled in Kanto by 4 Gyms? SERIOUSLY? That's lame. Oh, so they did make it a little bit faster....well, not fast enough for me to notice anyway.
  9. In Platinum, the battles aren't really sped up at all, they're just as slow. But they made it so that when it asks if you want to switch Pokemon when the opponent is also switching, the text displaying the Pokemon's name doesn't disappear like it does in D/P, making it a little easier to decide if you look away from the screen. Also I hope that in these remakes they make the levels higher...G/S/C had low levels.

It also shows the Arceus event. Also the Japanese Pokemon website has updated their Pokedex with the new artwork of all of the Johto Pokemon. Also new Johto map from June: Basically, Serebiiforums is the most up-to-date place possible to get information on these new games.

  12. So I've decided to start working on this again. I polished up a little bit of the "preview" demo I've shown so far, and so now I'm officially releasing "completed" Demo 06: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ezjtlymj3yo It's pretty much exactly the same as the preview except with a title screen, a menu, a cutscene, and I fixed a certain grinding-related glitch. So...ya. Pretty lame, I know. Hopefully I'll participate in Sage this year.

The original movement engine it was built off of is better than Kain's S3K engine, and it has included slightly more features (Tails, Knuckles). It's a little outdated, since I haven't released the newer (much better) version that I've made that I'm currently using for Sonic Revival.
  14. It's Pryce, not Bryce. I liked the idea of including Kanto, but I didn't like how they made it half the size of the original Kanto. But what can you say, these were 8-bit games. Hopefully if they include Kanto, they make it as big as it was presented in FR/LG. Heck, by typing out that last paragraph, it made me remember that going to 2 regions was awesome! I remember how I could never find out how to get the Rail Pass, so from Thursday-Sunday I would always be in Kanto, and from Sunday-Thursday I would always be in Johto, all because of the S.S. Aqua departure time.

  17. ...I'm 14. And when I first joined here I was like, 11 or 12; I don't remember. My first Sonic game was Sonic Adventure (Gamecube version, the DX thingy). I was 8 when we got it that Christmas.
  18. No update in an entire month? You should at least change that to something like, "Updated whenever I have time" or something. And what happened to those 7 new tutorials you said? I don't see any at all.
  19. I have never played Ristar (uh-oh). I wish I was turning 7 so then I would be *far* younger than anyone thought.
  20. The framerate runs just fine for me (60 FPS), so I'm afraid that's your end of the problem, not mine.
  21. lol, everybody bring up Google... But just a question: How well does the converter work? EDIT: As in, does it present any glitches/defects from using it?
  22. That's because I don't know where to find the converter...and I'm not wasting another $20 bucks for GM7. I wasn't aware on either, but I have an idea of what might be causing it, and that's because I deactivate a movement flag when you wall push... I need to look into that more thoroughly.
  23. If you play Demo 05 (which was released in May), Spring Yard Zone is 90% custom...did you look at the old screenshots?
