Still sounds pretty girly to me. Needs more Barry White.
Oh, and
. Been going on a BoC marathon as of late. There's something so ethereal about their soundscapes.Oh me, oh my. I didn't expect to see 4hero pop up, they're not the most well known of acts. Have you given Two Pages a listen?

Ah yeah, I understand what you mean with the leads. Usually with my waveforms(especially sawtooths and square waves) I'm careful not to go overboard with post-processing. I guess it's just a habit of mine that I need to alter. But thanks for the feedback. Glad you like it.

I guess it was time I posted my shit here anyway.
Yeah I make music and have been around the past year-and-a-half/2 years. I've been kinda pursuing it more vigorously than the other forms of media I work in; trying to get out of that "Jack-of-all-trades-but-mediocre-at-all-of-it" milarky(though I've had a complete creative block for the past 4/5 months, hence me posting the songs I created last year). I used to work primarily in Drum n Bass/Ambient, but I'm pursuing other genres as of present.
But yeah anyway I like Dolphins. Getting to business:
This is a track I did last January that was a continuation of an idea that an acquaintance presented to me(He asked me to "remix" it and the result was something so completely different from what he originally gave me that it pretty much became an original track of its own). Drum 'n Bass with a Psuedo-Jazzy vibe I guess.
This is something I did last...March, I think it was. Some of my friends called it Pendulum-ish, I guess I can see the similarities.
And this is a boss theme that I did for a friend's video game project that got cancelled. In any case I can flaunt it about now because there's no expectancy to keep material concealed until a demo is released. Funky.

Wish I could go against you, but I'm a dirty dirty pirate, and PSN doesn't like my kind.
There's a way to get onto PSN if you're using Custom Firmware, but it involves changing certificates in the flash if I remember correctly.

I don't really care for McDonalds except maybe their McChicken Sandwiches and even now they're overshadowed by new rebranding like that Chicken SuperHyperAlphaTurboDeluxeLegend II: The new challengers.
Although providing I'm in the correct mindset I'll probably consume any meal that has the word "Large" in it.
I'll just sit here quietly while someone tries and takes that sentence out of context.

I looked it up, and going by
, I haven't really. The closest resemblance would probably be a couple of the songs in the eliXtro album, and that's really only because of the "softer" percussion in them; otherwise, they're just calm techno/electronica.Honestly, most people would conclude that something's Drum n Bass if it's at 150-180bpm and contains a syncopated break of some sort. Or just a 2-step beat. Whatever floats your boat. Would be interesting to see you make songs in other styles of electronic music though.
But I digress. I really like some of your stuff, I liked atmospheric pleasure from your EliXtro album, would be nice to see you make more ambient-ish techno. What DAW do you use, out of general interest?

Dude, I love the idea. Lord knows how much I wish I could finish my projects. The atmosphere, the buildup, the soundscaping works until the full drums get in, then it starts kindof dragging a bit. Not enough change happens to compensate so the drums end up feeling tacked on after that point, and then even still after that it gets really repetitive. I know thats characteristic of the genre, however I feel like if you maybe changed the instrumentation and parts up a bit during the heavy part it would freshen it up a bit more. The new idea that comes after the second heavy part is great.
What are you using for your synths?
The synths? Well both the lead and the reverberated piano were using FL keys. The pad was a sample, and the effect-like synth was rewired from Reason 4. I think that's all I had, to be honest.
I usually have a lot of problems making my songs sound like they're actually getting somewhere and aren't milking every melody to the point of complete boredom, partly because my ideas run out and I simply can't make something that sounds within harmony, yet interesting to hear. Same goes for Drums to some extent(Though I can do variations pretty easily). Thanks for the feedback though.

I'm pretty sure that sonic has always had grey patterned shoe soles. Having them blue seems really off, change that.
Otherwise, these are pretty smooth. Nice work.

Yep. Decided to jump on the FL bandwagon and actually finish a song instead of throwing it in a folder where about 30 other incomplete projects reside.
This one really focuses more on modern DnB, except the theme is a lot more mellow in comparison to the dark and grungy themes that seem to be in most new DnB songs now.

Feedback appreciated. All that jazz.

I make music. Or try to, in the least.
Lately I've been trying to get into FL studio. Unfortunately, I'm not the best at it. As a matter of fact I'm pretty bad at the moment(lacking imagination, in other words) but then again, I've been using it since November, and have had only a few sessions where I've gripped down and got a hold of the interface and it's features.
Anyhow. To the point.

I was meaning to post this at some point, but I didn't have time. It's sort've an attempt at Ambient DnB/Early Old-skool jungle.
Nothing technical, as it was basically my first try at producing a proper track in contrast to a bunch of other projects that I never took off the ground.
Yeah. Comments. Etcetera.

Egg Rocket is one of the greatest Sonic songs ever man, I love this remix. Aren't those just the cheap slayers guitars though? I wouldn't mind laying down a real guitar track for you, if you're interested. Hit me up.
FL comes with a guitar synthesizer called FL slayer. Not very realistic, but then you can never really get a foolproof sound with synthesizers.

What all'd you use to make it?
FL Studio, I believe.
Which mind you, is a sexy beast of a DAW when it comes to electronica.

Chocolate, Coats, and a fuckload of money.
That's me done right there. DONE.

Depends on what you're trying to achive.
My main setup is simply a Yamaha cs1x synthesizer connected to my sound card via MIDI, and used within FL-Studio 8. I use that occasionally for DnB/Breakbeat(which I'm still learning on techniques and experiments)
It seriously depends on what you're trying to go for specifically. Do you use a DAW?

Looks good, but you haven't exactly shown us much.

Without the GBA slot, my Supercard SD flash card would be rendered completely useless(which would result in me having to buy an M3, which I'm not going to do). What they should be focusing on is a more sustained touch screen, which doesn't bugger up within a few months of using, and on that note, a calibration feature which actually works instead of going around in goddamn circles.
Speaking of built in browsers... How is the opera browser for DS?Good for checking e-mails and other simple web pages. Bad for navigating to data-intensive web pages, because it starts lagging like fuck. Adding to that, there's no javascript support(although i hear there is a homebrew being developed that will support javascript and such).
Guess who has a new Sonic REMIX?

Okay, this has been bugging me for the past hour or so now. is EAR an acronym for something, or is your alias literally DJ...Ear?
But yeah, the production on this is really quite solid. Can't say I'm the biggest fan of Hardstyle/Hardcore myself, but this was pretty fun to listen to.
