  1. Whos going to rock the places? PLACES! PLACES! Well I don't think the song is as annoying as a lot of people (not this forum) are making it out to be, infact I like the tune about 20 seconds into...even if it is a short sample.

  3. Basically, there like a inch of invisable fall your meant to land on after that platform, go forward slighty and then run back, you should be able to avoid the foot crushing thing like that TRD. EDIT: Well that maps help, so I wasted so much time on Pedo bear for no reason? bah humbug.

  8. Yes and no, during the SEGA reshuffle in 2005, United Game Artists was merged into Sonic Team, this game is being made by the United Game Artists half of Sonic Team. Oh and another new preview with screens of some sunken ship level and some sky battle stage. They also seem to think highly of the game. Games Radar Preview
  9. FUC U MIDI RPG R OHSAME! Ahem, the game has a rumoured Febuary 2007 release date, but I haven't seen this apart from fan speculation and Wikipedia so I'm not sure about that. And if anyone wonders what the Ring fiery pixed girl thing thing looks like... Name's Shrezza or something like that (can be seen on the right)
  10. Well been following this game for a while, here's what I can add. All of Sonic's friends (okay probably not all, I think about eight of them considering there seems to be 4 secret multiplayer characters...for some reason) would be associated with some character from Arabian Nights, Knuckles is Sinbad, Tails is Ali Baba and the Doctor is the sultan of Persia apparently. Also the main villain happens to be a Buu-esque villain called Erazer (sounds about right for someone who erases book pages) and some ring-fiary spirit thingy thing that serves kinda like navi, but only talks to Sonic all the time...anyway scans from Nintendo Power.   11. Nice, this boss battle seems interesting, the part with the spiked balls I take it seems to be remnicent of the Death Egg Zone mini-boss. Anyway nice screens, look forward to the finished product = P

Right, I'll try finishing up Diamond Sands, in which I just need to make a loop da loop and a few sloopes and I'll give it to yuo (considering the project it was part of died a year and half ago, I gots no reason to hold onto it) all I need to do now is find the connection chord between my computer and ZIP drive, where is located XD And should I stop making Misty Mine then? Redid the foreground and added Trd's rails.
  13. Oh I should have said, the reason I posted those four pics was to show examples of my works XD but yeah I started work on Misty Mine and this is what I have so far. Combining Hidden Palace and Mystic Cave, made this, obviously the foreground needs to be darken a bit to fit in with the rest of the level (and a bit of adjustment on the shading to)
  14. Small jobs eh? I might be able to do that, if it is just one and a half level (and thankfully school is finally giving me some breathing space) Although I'm only good at combining, recolouring and mixing together level pieces, I've never made custom levels that are of Genesis level quality. Dersert Level Mountain Prison Level Advance Style Forest I could help a bit with the boss, but again, I'm only good with combining and recolouring. Custom bosses-ish
  15. I suppose what contributed to it the most was that the SEGA Mega Drive was my first console and Sonic the Hedgehog was the first video game I played. And I just liked the character/level designs over that of other video gaming characters of the time.
  16. So then, what this tells me other then the CD several wills song list, is that Crush 40's Johnny Gioeli wrote the "His Wuuurrrlldddd!!!" part? The Crush 40 version sounds nice so far.
  17. Well I managed to watch this on YouTube and my expectations have been lowered, considering I thought the visuals on the teaser trailer made the movie look awesome. Oh well I hope its based somewhat on the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon or at least have some comic book influence like the new cartoon did. Oh and looks like Karai and the Foot are in this, she at least orders a large bunch of them to run towards the screen near the end. Probably check it considering I'm a TMNT nut and all.

Well the cinematics looks awesome but I'd like to see more about the battle system, haven't been too interested in many RPGs (probably the only ones I liked were Pokemon Red, Skies of Arcadia and Super Mario RPG, infact, most the time I hate RPGs) but I'd rather like to see more of that battle system then another scene showing someone's supreme power, considering I thought it looked pretty spiffy.
  19. It plays like something I'd find on my SEGA Master System... Which is why I love it so! feels very much like one of those games from the Master System and is done extremely well!

  21. The team behind Sonic Wildfire is also the team behind Feel the Magic: Project Rub just so people know. Most of it is UGA but as we know, due to the SEGA/Sammy reshuffles, the two teams were merged and are now Sonic Team. And seeing the interview that NOM had with him, his apparently getting his ideas from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I don't know how he is but eh just thought people should know! Back to the topic, What ever happened to the slopes helping to speed you up? now all it is is springs and booster pads with a quick little spindash! I wish they had slopes back ;__;
  22. He looks awesome thus far, although are you trying to go for your own take on Nack or the classical look? Now only if your going for the classical look, make his eyeball thingys (not the pupil, the actually eye balls) slightly larger, and raise both far back sides of his mouth area to give it that classical look. Although if your going for your own style forget this paragraph entirely! EDIT: Scratch that, the eyeballs are probably going to end up looking ridiclously silly if you enlarge them... Although as it is, its a pretty awesome Nack, and I'm looking forward towards seeing the final product!
  23. So if I got some previous points...people had faith in Sonic Heroes? I thought you were all smarter then that! ::shot:: Okay seriously I had no faith in Sonic Heroes to be better then either Sonic ADventure or Sonic Adventure 2, although I had strong faith in Sonic the Hedgehog, however the interviews with the producers really should have hinted me off that it wasn't going to be the game it became... "We wanted to make the game so that the Sonic was fast again...we wanted to use the next gen technology so that people felt like they were actually running at that speed" etc ect and more about speed. nothing about Shadow or Silver at all! Oh well heres hoping for Yokiro Ogawa! = P And Blaze is a perfectly fine addition to the Sonic cast... Also Sonic Jam was awesome, 3D Sonic is doable, I have you know I enjoyed Sonic Adventure more then Sonic the Hedgehog 3!
