Well, to tell you the truth, we thought about it just as we where finishing. We forgot about it, and said "What if people think we copied?" well we knew that was unlikely, because in ours we keep sonic himself. Why its funny is because sonic doesn't act himself in fanfics. My girlfriend is an ex criminal in that field. She had a pretty popular fanfic based off of Sonic Underground. Her main character was sonics girlfriend. Than she met me, Mr. Anti sonic fanfic. Soon after we where a couple, she realized that sonic couldn't pleasure her as well as a real person [/ego] She wanted to poke fun at bad fanfics, and thus this was made.

Wow, it means a lot. Thanks everyone. I wanted to make its own topic, but I tired that at TSS and they just closed it. I wanted feedback on my performance because I want to be a voice actor for a career.

To tell you the truth, I have already been signed on for a series made from brawl clips... I wanted to do this mostly for a demo of my sonic voice so I expect work hehe

I did all except the two girls. My voice was killing me after the Arnold esc voice.

About 3 days of nonstop work. It was a pain, but luckily for me I didn't have to do the drawings, just voices and half the script.

Lookie, I made it pretty :3 Anyway, that aside. Great work guys, this is one fun little engine. Only complaints I have are that A. I don't like the running animation, sonic looks like he needs a neck brace, B. Sonic CD sound effects. I fixed that easily though Also, I changed the music to "Good egg galaxy" from Super Mario Galaxy, fits the mood better. Good work guys, cant wait to see more.

Gah, of all the times! I use Gamefly to rent games, and I have 2 games out already! I have been waiting since my idiot friend upgraded it to 3.10. "Lol i no howz to upgrade" and it sucks! Well, hopefully sony wont take any action until I can get my hands on a copy. Thanks for the update.

Steve Hedgehog's Review of the demo: First off, I would like to say I am sick of all the trolls who have reviewed the demo so far. They have all trash talked the demo, saying it was "Un-playable, Dull, Ugly". I say to them, THE ____ING GAME JUST CAME OUT. You cant just Run through the demo once and call it crap. You need to get used to the Game first. Ok on to the Main Review When I woke up this wonderfull morning, I knew today was the first day of X06, So I fire up the xbox 360 and See the demo. As a sonic fanboy, I yelled (woke up my dad too). I downloaded it and noticed, Wow thats a small file size. So after about 6 minutes of waiting I launched the demo. No Silver or shadow, But i dident care, Sonic was my main Hog anyway. So the Demo Begins, And I told myself I wanted to take a good look at sonic before I sped out into the world. Sonics Model has Never looked better. No plastic, Just Textured Glory. So off I went. I encountered the first Help Post, The announcer seems alot like Sean Connery, But No omochao (praise god). The Homing attack has changed, No longer can you just Tap A and smash all the enemys. When you do the homing attack on a ememy, There is a short pause inbetween. I personally like this change. In sonic adventure, I would homming attack about 4 ememys, and like an idiot, I fell to the side and died. But in STH06, You can plan a quick second Desicion at your last enemy. The speed is wonderfull. It isent OMG UBER HAX fast, But a little faster than the previous games. The Spindash IS back, But sucks Huge balls. You can no longer spindash and jump. You have to spindash and to stop eather hit an enemy or press X. The new Kick attack is pretty nice, Nothing major, but nice. The Slide attack is just wierd. While Running you hold X and release and you slide. As like the spindash have to hit an object or X to stop. Now, the unexpected thing I was suprised by, The bounce attack is here! Very good for fighting Huge Robots. On the topic of robots. I know most people here HATED the life bars in Shadow and Sonic Heroes, Well in STH06, The bar is your sex partner. In the demo, only 10% of the robots had them, And it only took 3 hits. The bar isent a problem whatsoever. This game feels like your sonic. I took different paths and somtimes a Huge robot would land in front of me. I took the sonic approach. I ran under his legs and blasted him with a good bounce attack. In conclusion, This game WILL be the sonic game to bring back the series. Jason G is pretty good this time around. Camera is a little probelmatic, But NO were as bad as SA. My final Judgement: Pros: Old sonic feeling Speed Sonic Looks fantastic Many paths to take Cons: camera is a little wonkey No Ryan drummond Demo gets a 8/10

Well, I saw people running around as sonic and tails in the lobby. I have always wanted to do this. I want to use sonic offline in my main quest. I have an action replay to transfer saves, and I am dieing to do this. Would anyone know how? Or even better, have a save game of sonic,tails and knuckles?

But i took a 5 year break, so its 2, but it dosent matter. Well, I learned the movement, but now shooting is a HUGE problem. any tut's on that subject?

I did check, but the only engines are Sonic Styled. I dont need spindash and all the other moves. And I have yet to see the Kind Of Enemy AI I speak of.

Well I have decided to step away from sonic games for a while. I would like to create a Game based of my Fan character. The Point of this topic is, I would like someone to work with on a Custom engine for my game. The engine would have: Normal walking (not super sonic speed) Jumping Shooting Enemy AI If anyone could take some time out of there live's and help me I would deeply apreciate it. I would prefer someone who has AIM, Yahoo Or MSN to keep close contact. Any takers?
