    I may be wrong here, but some guy found a song in the Sonic 2 beta, which points itself to be Genocide City's theme...

    While it is just beta Sky Chase, it still sound approparate, doesn't it?

      Might be caused by a wrong pointer to the music data of Sky Chase?

      I mean, sets the pitch, the tempo, then a pointer to the data, pointing to Sky Chase's notes. Wouldn't be hard to imagine.
