... no no no, dont start anything like this on this thread. The feedback is fine, its just the answering each other back part i dont like.
Ok, my plan was to have a basic layout. I have already added the areas for the main gimmick, which is why there are those random floating platforms in act 2. Thats is where the main gimmick will be. About badniks, I will tweak level design to suite with what we come up with.
However, I must admit we didnt think of focusing level design with badnik placement, but it is definitely something I will look at when it comes round to it.

Yes, I have already asked for help before, but I have now decided that I don't want someone to do all the work for me, but I want to learn... I know the basics, I can create simple little things in the event list editor but nothing complex and useful
I have asked for a programmer to join my project and haven't had any luck, mostly because all the programmers already have a project or 5 they are working on, which is fair enough. This time my request is different in the way that I would like to find someone that is willing to help me learn about the CF2.5 event list editor, creating gimmicks, enemies and bosses. Mr PotatoBadger has definitely given me a good basic understanding on everything I needed to know at the time, but now we are reaching the point where a programmer is desperately needed.
If anyone does have the time to help me out, please let me know. I dont want to be going around bugging people about stuff that I should learn myself, its just I cant find anywhere to learn from...
Thanks

Just a quick update here. We are hoping to release another demo in January with new graphics and improved level design. There will still be no enemies or special gimmicks, the reason being we really want to get the level design set in stone before adding extra things.
The feedback we received last time was amazing and I hope to receive some just as useful information next time. Thanks everyone who tried and gave their opinions

Dont worry guys, Haven and Blue Blur are merging now, everything made for haven will not be lost, but improved upon and tweaked and will be seen in later levels of Blur Blur. I am the leader of this project and I hope the our game meets the expectation that you had for HHW.
Thanks

So after certain events I am not going to let put this game down, DVD decided to re-make some of the art for the game. Anyway... This is a redesign of the second zone aka the zone that was playable at SAGE. There was a lot of criticism about the background and also boring scenery. Hopefully this image can show off how much we are really trying to improve this. Hopefully this zone will be playable at SAGE 2015

please, this is over, I am already picking up the pieces...

Ok, thanks for the feedback, I will definitely have a look at those collisions. Also, the levels design is sort of being overhauled. Thanks for the feedback

They are the changes to the end of Act 1 (Cheers Jassbec for that idea ) The bottom layer is where you run from the water and you bounce up to the end of the stage

Hopefully some planned gimmicks we have for these areas will make them less annoying
Keep the feedback coming guys, we are making a lot of changes that will hopefully make this game much better
-
Cool, thanks for the feedback, we will definitely look at making those areas more interesting thanks for the feedback
Edit: I have rebuilt the end of act 1 thanks to your help and nice picture
I am looking at ways we can make act 2s Water fall section less plain and hopefully spruce up the lower areas in act 2
Also, the screw thing is something to do with SWD, I will mess around with some code too see If I can get it to reset.

So, I hope you enjoyed the trailer... and now the feedback is in, the game has been tweaked and its finally time for a demo for you guys. Please not this is very early and is lacking badniks and a gimmick we are still trying to tackle. It's is a short 2 acts of the Great Forest zone. The zone showcased in the trailer and the first zone in the game. For this demo there are no credits... But I have a list of people who I would like to thank for helping all of this come to real...
Mr Lev Rocks
You sir are amazing... Without you, this project will not even exist. You inspired me, you motivated me and you really helped me out. Your level design is solid and your ideas are brilliant. I really hope you stay on through the whole project
DarkVampireDee
You may or may not see this, but you are the first original team member on this project, from day 1 you have been there and I hope until the last day you stick around. Your work is amazing and I can not wait too see what other amazing art you come up with.
Mr Badger
Brilliant Music. The second you allowed me to use your tracks, I was over the moon. Then, you started composing for me!! I really did not expect this and I am so happy your amazing work can be shown in this small, first game of mine (and the rest of the teams)
Mr PotatoBadger
To (try:p) and teach me the basics was amazingly helpful. Thank you very much. So helpful and kind and always has a solution too my problems
Xebec
Not much to say (yet) but welcome to the team. Another amazingly talented musician on the project . Also a really good Beta Tester. Its going to be great
BlueParadox and SirSpacebar
Both of you volunteered as Beta testers, and for that I am very grateful. I can not wait too show off more of the project to you guys.
InfinityAlex and Mr Lange
You both helped me out with issues I was having and I am very grateful Thank you very much and good luck on your respective projects
Sonic Worlds Delta Team
Your engine is amazing, keep up the good work. Without it, I would have never started this project.
Everyone at Sonic United
Happy Thanksgiving in America, or happy Thursday everyone else . You are good people and I am glad to have chosen to make my project under these forums.
I know I should kinda be saving all of these until an actual release, and not just a Beta, but I really want to show my appreciation so thanks everyone
Now the download...
Enjoy (I hope )

Just a quick screenie to show off a little progress

If the sprites for the main game are finished he can work on dlc himself. I know dvd well and work with him and he will have most likely finished his part of the main game, im sure the rest of his team are hard at work on the main game

Some nice gifs for you guys
(Thanks MLR )

... Where is this expo may I ask?? I would love to go to the expo
-
Can I be one of the beta testers please?
Read the PM I sent you

Ok, we will probably have 3 acts available fairly soon as we are finishing off the first zone now. We are still after at least 2 more Beta Testers so do not be afraid to help out
We may even get a nice Winter Demo up for you guys with the first zone finished. I may have found someone that knows about programming in CF2.5 irl, so hopefully new gimmicks, enemies and bosses are coming soon. Just got to wait and see...

my sisters argument was what if the 6th night is not really cannon, in which case you miss a lot of information and stuff regarding fnaf 1 and how that all started. And finally (this one is a bit odd) but what if this isnt really fnaf 2, but a prequel that just happens to be called fnaf 2. Could the real second part of the first game actually come out in 2015 as promised? Just a though on my side.

just a quick thing, idk if this is possible, but can you make Ice Cap act 1 snowboarding an actual challenge, like put spikes or traps down... would make it pretty cool
