  1. I love it. That background should be epic. But it seems that you have some low detail buildings in front of that big tower. When that's done it looks a bit strange in my opinion. Maybe you should move them to the back layer. Right now they just cover up the larger more detailed buildings which are more eye catching.

    That's a good idea (I was wondering why it look awkward a bit). Thanks you for the tip :ssmile:

    Here's a new mock up from my game and it's the FINAL zone!!! Chaos Citadel everyone!

    Chaos Citadel will have two different acts (or a 3rd if I decided to extend the game), act 1 will be outside and act 2 will be on the inside (kind of like Sonic 1 Scrap Brain zone).

  4. I personally don't like most  sonic alliteration. I find it limiting, and kind of annoying. I think they should be 2 words that tell it exactly for how it is: Lava Reef, Marble Garden, Chemical Plant, Fern Valley, Sky Sanctuary, Quartz Garden.

    (Pls don't use fern valley and quartz garden, those are in my game)

    Things that aren't alliterated in purpose are OK though, like Oil Ocean

    Alot of sonic alliteration are good but some just don't sound right for some reason (I guess cause it isn't the right words to used on). But I get what you're sayIng man. Earlier in my development, I made a desert zone call Sand Paradise (it's a really really old zone that's been ongoing for 4 to 5 years. WAY older than Prism Palace). There were alot of good non sonic alliteration I thought of along time ago......hopefully if I can find that list somewhere (it's a real clutter in my flash drive).

    I checked out your Haven Homeworld page. Prism Palace looks great, and I'm always glad to see the "Green Zones" with a interesting twist. I noticed all of your zones have the alliteration too, and lets face it, those are the most fun names to come up with.

    Thanks man, it took like two and a half year to fully complete Prism Palace (even Faerie Forest too). Funny thing is that Faerie Forest originally ment to be called "Flora Forest" (it kind of make sense a bit since it's a forest filled with all kinds of plants). It is still hard making the zones and the alliteration names too. 

  6. Here's another mock up for Haven Home World, Mercury Mine! Fully remade, 100% final draft! Thanks to my good friend Wakaflockaflame1 for the help on the bakground. Thanks man!

    It was really hard to remake this zone. Even picking the right colors was hard too.

    As of now we have Ten Rounds (Zones). A full list will be posted later. And yes Sonic is happy how this zone came out

  7. A color update of Futureshock Freeway. The green buildings background is all red. Hope this pleases everyone (I'm not changing the purple clouds cause I think this still look good).

  8. Oh sorry I missed the other two. Well out of 5 zones, 4 have similar palettes. The easiest way to edit palette is to pick some level that you like of existing 32-bit game and just copy palette from there. I might try to fiddle with palette if you wish and show you results.

  9. There are 5 zones so far...

    Yes...5 I shown but there is 5 more coming so that makes Chaos Citadel as the final tenth zone (R10). 4 zones mention from my previous update and that other unnamed zone (which I hope the background comes out good or otherwise it'll be scrap).

  10. These levels look outstanding imdividually, but I'm a bit worried that all 3 zones you showed us so far have pretty similar palettes, it may become tiring especially if you decide to make 3 acts per zone.

    Thank you but selecting colors is a bit difficult for me. I'll try to experiment alittle more or maybe you can offer what color you're expecting from my zones. I'm still open to ideas and suggestions.

  11. I really love the way Chaos Citadel looks so far: the colors all compliment each other pretty nicely and is pleasing to the eyes.

    As for Futureshock Freeway, I like the foreground: it has a pretty interesting pattern and the lamp posts (I'm assuming they're lamp posts) look really funky. As for the bg, I love the purple buildings and the tunnel, but I don't really feel the green buildings in the very back suit the other colors well: You have a lot of purple and yellows that complement each other, but then you have the green that looks completely out of place and offsets the rest of the colors. And then the clouds: the clouds look kinda gaudy with both the pinkish purple and the dark green sky.

    Still, I'm really looking forward to this game, so keep up the good work.

    thanks man and yes they're lamp post. I might change the color green to something else and maybe the purple sky too...hmmm...any ideas? Hey maybe I'll extend the demo with extra zones too.

  13. Uhm yeah wow that water distortion is beyond disorienting. Something like that should be subtle rather than mind exploding. This is looking fantastically put together though.

    It's alright. Remember, I said these videos are old and we might change it up at one point. Thank you for your concerns.

  14. Hate to sound like a broken record but this is looking lovely. Word of advice though, the water distortion in the 2nd video is a bit intense. Maybe dial it back a little.

    Thanks but the special effects are not in my department. But I do like the first water distortion than the second. I'll think about your advice.

    After defeating Dr. Ivo Robotnik and saving Little Planet from a nightmarish destruction, Sonic & Tails went exploring a new island that was said forgotton long ago, protected by a goddess who brought peace and love from a terrible fate that almost destroy the planet. Until Dr. Robotnik discover that the island has special shards that would help him rule the world. It's up to Sonic & Tails to stop him before destruction befell on the planet as it has happen 1000 years ago! Meanwhile, Knuckles the echidna went explore the island to discover the truth of the Master Emerald origins.

  16. Hi everyone. I have new updates on the game progress. Well my team have to start all over working on the game again because the engine went crazy and would let me play the beta demo they put together, so they check it out and the errors they found were ridiculous (it was really frustraiting).

    So now we're shorting the game. The demo for the SAGExpo Act 2 will have 3 zones but one act only (Faerie Forest, Prism Palace, and Sakabu Sand), just to make the file size shorter (we even use Mp3 instead of WAV because the ridiculous size that the WAV took up).

    So everything coming out good and I have a new mock up I want to share with you that will also be added to our full fan game.

    Futureshock Freeway is a second to the last zone, "Chaos Citadel" (no mock up yet but it's being in progress). Futureshock Freeway is like a clone to the stardust speedway bad future version but as a place near Eggman stronghold place. And yes there will be a Metal Sonic race like fight (possible CD style or Generation style).

    The game has 3 more new zones being made into the full game by Wakaflockaflame1 and TheRaginLion (a new update will shortly be here with new mock ups by the team).

    Despoil Dystopia

    Greenhouse Garden (forgot to add, sorry)
