  1. Not a big fan of that new model. With some more work it could be much better imo. You probably won't care about my opinion but I do just want to help. So I'll try to explain how this could be personally imo better. I do understand modeling is hard work but surely the changes I'm about to suggest are not impossible for you if you agree with any of them. The shape of the eyes are awkward. they just have a bad flow to them. There are of course different styles for his eyes you can do but the overall-look of these just don't artistically look good atm. This will be a bit hard to explain since I don't know which artistic style you want for this model but if I was going take a guess from a older picture of yours... I'd say you modeled his eyes to big & they should have a more sideways oval shape & look sharper shaped overall, they should curve more into his muzzle instead of going down & hitting the outside edge oh his cheeks as much. His muzzle is to small, It also should come out from his head more. his face looks to sunken in atm. The mouth needs to be lower. His nose needs to be bigger. The belly patch needs to be a bit smaller and higher up on his body. The arms are a bit to skinny & to long. His legs need to be more noodly shaped. The torso needs to be a bit longer or just bigger perhaps. Not quite sure, it atm just looks really awkward to me. Not a fan of his quills atm, Looking from the art the quills should be shorter with his bottom ones especially so. His top spike should point upwards more. they all also need a more plumper & sharper shape to them at the same time. his ears should be less round shaped. --- Well anyways. I hope my opinions can help you in someway dude.
  2. So is the time-travel automatic? Like every act in a zone is a different moment in time? or is it linked to gameplay somehow like hitting a object makes time change? or is that something you prefer not to talk about until the game is out? which is fine if so.
  3. I actually haven't listened to your music yet. But I did just now! Pretty good stuff. Music is the one thing I've never really tried to do much. With drawing & trying to learn to make games & story telling & concept creation like character designs ETC. I got my plate full already. Ahh If only I had more time in my life for everything~
  4. Indeed I do find it very inspiring! I've always loved such extreme & sexy styles as that. I just find it very hard to add such detail to my own works atm. Well I'll get there someday hopefully. And don't worry to much about me. I'm not a very serious person most of the time. So I am fine.
  5. Thanks for the info. Well yes, I am aware of how the PS2 version of Odin Sphere had some slow down problems. Not that it would bother me to much. But that is one reason I wanted to know how MMF2 handles graphic sizes. I don't think i've seen HD sprite games made in MMF2 yet. which has me worried at how possible it actually is. I just really want to find a good enough game-engine already so I can get started on learning to make my PC games. But been unsure where to turn to for my needs.
  6. That's fine. I'm ok with having to put extra work in a game if it means getting what I want. Not that I know how hard something like that would be yet. But surely it's possible anyways. far as sprite size I think something around 3x the size of classic Sonic or more for the playable characters would be nice for me. PS: Thanks for replying.
  7. Now forgive me if this is a very silly noob question. I did try looking up the question on Google & this forum first, but I did not come across a real answer. So what I'd like to know is, What is the max size/how tall can sprites get in MMF2? Somebody I personally asked said for playable characters I should not try to go taller then x2 the size of classic Sonic from Sonic1. What I want to do is HD sprites for my future games but I been unsure of what engine I'll need for it. I liked the sound of how easy Sonic worlds + MMF2 is but I hear it can't handle big graphics very well which is a shame for me. I know visuals may not be important to a lot of gamers, but as a artist & art lover I really want to do HD sprites similar to games like Odin Sphere & Rayman legends do. except not as detailed of course.
  8. Whoa. Absolutely amazing art & style & character designs you got here maaaaan. Dude I can't even comprehend how you do such great mind blowing work. I really love those character designs man o man they are so radical cool & sexy <3 After looking at yo great works you made me feel like a cruddy artist. Ugh. D:
  9. Like I told you on DA. I love that new cover art. It's very professional looking & just plain cute. I love cute & cool stuff so that's a + in my book. This game has to be one of the games I look forward to most lately in my life. Other games besides Sonic rarely interest me anymore nowadays. So a game that has a nice Sonic vibe to it is wonderful imo. But it does not over do it which is probably a good thing. I hope it keeps that small Sonic vibe & similar art style in your future games if you decide to make more of this series later on. PS: And it's great to see cool female main characters for once. It's something personally I wish more people would try to do.
  10. I bet the music for this game will be very epic since it's taking longer then expected. at least that is what I bet on. Been awhile since I've played the demo. But it was pretty awesome I have to say. So I am still very much looking forward to the complete game. You are very inspiring to other fans who wanna make cool Sonic fan-games someday tbh.
  11. The game is looking really good there Lake. Like always I am looking forward to yo game. But like I said on MSN to you, I still think you should have more then just 3 people as testers for your games before you release them. Since you told me you don't like to patch your games. But if you can find all the bugs yourself then I suppose it won't matter. And again. You are really good at coming up with nice zone concepts & even enemies, ETC. It sometimes takes me ages to think up enough unique concepts for the games I work on. So believe me when I say you got a very nice skill for this kind of stuff dude.
