hmm... I have mixed feelings about this. And it is hard to know what to say until we hear/see more of it.
So one of the guys who is writing for this did MLP & ScaryMoive2 ETC? ...I haven't watched MLP mostly just because some of it's fan base creeps me out. But I'm guessing the show is likely fine. I'll probably give it a better chance someday later. Anyways knowing that doesn't tell me if it'll make this show good or not by itself.
As much as I love and prefer hand drawn animation... I think it may be a better move to make it CGI this time, Which would mean there would be less chance for a awkward art style happening or whatever. But if they do make it CGI... I hope it's the good stuff... And not the cheap bad stuff. :S
I'm a bit disappointed to hear that the focus is mainly only going to be on Sonic. Tails. Knuckles and Amy... I know it's a bit to soon to judge. But like I always say. "I personally hate that character lineup" ...I don't hate any of the characters themselves. I just hate it when they make that set as the main cast all the time. I know I may be odd since I know that a lot of people do like that lineup. But what can I say? I just don't like it much personally. I hope Blaze & MetalSonic still make their way in somehow. Hey! A guy can dream can't he?
I am happy to hear it'll be a comedy though.
I really hope it's nothing like SonicX... Oh boy how I hate that show... :I
But there's not much else I can say about it atm until more info comes out. I do hope it'll be a great show regardless of whatever. I been wanting me a good new Sonic series for ages now~

If any of my past conversations with LakeFeperd on MSN are anything to go by… He highly likely won’t be patching this game after this first release. I think he told me he doesn’t like to go back on things he considers finished and likes to move on with his life, And prefers to work on new games ETC from what I remember. So good luck to you guys with getting him to do more patches. Because I know I didn’t. Hohoo~

This… game... Is… Beyond epic Epic EPIC!! It is really super amazing cool awesome mega fantastic WIN! Whoo! ...Sometimes at days like this, I always feel I must had been almost born just to play this game… It’s just… "Foams at the mouth then faints." Ohhyeeeeaahh.

Hm. I wonder how Dr.Eggman is going to help Sonic exactly? It didn't even show him in the video.
I also hope we have a more fun boss battle with Dr.Eggman in this game... Since we all know that we more then likely will. But hopefully not one where we are running after him again.

Yeah it's still true I would absolutely love to see MetalSonic & Blaze playable in a new main none-handheld Sonic game. But in the end all that matters to me is if the game is fun. And since I Loved/Enjoyed greatly Sonic unleashed/colors/generations/Sonic4 EP2. I don't think that's even a question with me. :3

Just watched the new trailer! I am super psyched! Awesome. just awesome man.
I love the more stylized cartoony fantasy designs for everything. much better for Sonic games. and is something I been wanting more of for ages. I just don't like even remotely realistic environments etc. so this game is real candy for me~
No surprise the aliens are just random badguys. but I still think they are very cool.
New gameplay looks great. Sonic still seems very fast which is a + in my book. The gravity change type stuff will make me a bit dizzy for a while. But I'm sure I'll get used to it.
I can't tell if any other characters besides Sonic will be playable yet. But I'm not to picky when it comes to a Sonic game, just as long it's well made and fun. So whichever way I'm not to worried. I'll love this game and play it to death regardless.
I also can't tell if Eggman will be here yet. But unless I am mistaken, I saw Badniks. Which should mean Eggman is somewhere in this game.
But yeah. Screw every other game this year. I NEED this game~
PS: I'll see what else I can find to talk about after I re-watch the video like another 100 times~ :3

I love that semi-new Tornado. It looks just a bit more sexy then the older designs imo.

6 Guardians likely means 6 zones. Well perhaps there may be even a 7th zone for a final zone. Which to me makes me think that these guys will be bosses of each zone. And that Sonic will make friends afterwards with couple of them I guess.

Shadowed-out pics of the 6 guardians that Sonic will come across in this game. they will be showed fully later at the end of the month I heard. probably 1 at a time per-day.
They look pretty cool from what I can see of them. Nice to see that they are sticking with a overly cartoon art style still.

Sonic was many thing in the Adventure games. Slow is not one of them. If you felt like you were going slow in those games, it's because you suck at Sonic and can't figure out how to gain speed without a boost button.
Or perhaps some people just have different tastes in gameplay. there's a thought?. And I for 1 play games to just enjoy myself. And running insanely fast is 1 thing that brings me such joy. And what is insulting me suppose to do again? To prove your opinion is better then mine? Ha! that's almost cute. How old are you again? and how about you go and enjoy what you want and I'll go do the same? It's a video game. learn to lighten up a little.

A fast Sonic is the only Sonic I want to play anymore tbh. I can't stand Sonic being slow like he was on the adventure games. The other characters who are not sonic should be the ones who offer slower gameplay styles. Unlike some people, I like there being characters who play completely different from each other in a single game. it makes it much more fun and interesting.

Tho technically I use the windows 7 option that changes my BG every 30 mins. all of them are Sonic BGs tho. But I also put it as the BG on my PS3. Yohooho~

Make Tails, Knuckles and Amy playable again.
Personally I'd like this character line up.
Sonic. Tails. MetalSonic. Blaze. New character.
I'm not much into Knuckles or Amy really...
And oh yeah. I did forget to say i am a bit sad at the only on Nintendo thing. There should always at least be a PC version too! SonicGame Mods & Hacks are some of the best things imo. Which is not something you'll see outside of PC versions much. :/

Oh YEAH BABY~ I Am super excited for this GaaAAAmE! imo it looks like it combine all the best elements from the newer Sonic games. I am loving that epic looking planet. Whooo! Perhaps we may from looking at it, we may get a. Nature zone. Desert zone. Canyon zone. Lava zone. Ice zone. Sky zone. Water zone. I really love that SonicTeam is trying to do more fantasy environments again, like the originals. But yeah... I really hated the more realistic bland ones like on sonic unleashed ETC. So looks like another step in the right direction here!
I love Sonic and all. But I hope they have more then just Sonic playable this time... Unless it's just Sonic & Tails & Knuckles & Amy. I despise that character lineup. I prefer to just have Sonic & Tails at that point. Personally I'd like a playable villein character like MetalSonic or Eggman. Also I know people are not often fond of new characters... But hey! it's a new world it seems. So new characters are almost a given! So i wouldn't mind a new playable character for once here.
And I don't care what anybody says. I love how modern Sonic has both 3D & 2.5D gameplay lately. both are fun & awesome imho. and anybody who disagrees is a party pooper who has forgotten how to just simply enjoy a good game and probably whines all day how modern games are not made specific to their own personal tastes.

Anyways. looking great dude. I love how that battle is looking. nice & epic, + really well animated. good job.
This game probably shows how far a MMF game can go far as visuals, which is pretty great I'd say. It's almost a shame I won't be using it for my own games. But my games need something that can handle big sprites. lucky my close friend who wants to work on games with me is a programer and is trying to create our own engine...
Anyways keep-up the good work man. still looking forward to the game.

Oh, and btw, somebody wanna has any idea of what name i can give to the Green hedgehog over there?
his name for now is Chrono but ya know, that's the name of the game and i don't wanna give him too much attention, even though he is a playable character at a certain point.
I don't really like that Dr.Eggman sprite personally. It's not the outfit. It's just the sprite in general doesn't look as well made as the Sonic & Tails sprite from that set. Like, I don't think his nose should be so red. pink would be better. red makers him look like a clown to much. There's other small problems with it too, but I won't go into more detail unless you actually want to hear.
As for the Chrono guy.
I'm guessing it's just a early design. but Is there not any way that you can make him look less like a recolor Sonic? give him a different spike heir style or something. And well... does he really need to be a hedgehog at all? ...Unless the character is actually suppose to look just like a green Sonic for some story reason. If so, then that's fair enough I suppose.

Forgive me if this is going a bit off topic. it's just I'm not sure what some people seem to have against the Generations model anyways?. Is it just that people want to see others try to be as original as possible with their own models? That's fine if so. I almost always believe it's awesome to be original.
But if it's actually that some of you dislike the generations model then I don't understand as it was one of best looking classic 3D Sonic models i've seen yet. True It was not perfect, imo it looked a bit odd in some small ways. but it was still really good.

You know Fumetsusozo, you could have come up with at least one positive thing to say for all of your complaints. It's hardly a bad model even if it has some quirks. It at least looks like something different than the classic Sonic model from Generations, and if it didn't then really what would have been the point in modeling it in the first place.
Nonsense. I was trying to help the guy in my own way. But perhaps it was a bit to rude, Sorry about that. But I myself am a artist and he asked for feedback so I felt to give what I could. So I gave him my honest opinion. which all it was. I respect the guy honestly and I just feel he could do much better. I really liked his design ideas in the art. But whining at me won't help him grow. And you liking the model yourself does not change my opinion. Try not act all fanboy on me and try not to attack anybody that does not share your own opinions. Plus I never said he should make it look like Generations Sonic. which was a nice looking model I do have to say. but is besides any point. anyways to keep this from turning into a argument, I won't reply to any more posts such as yours on this topic that are complaining about me giving criticism. If somebody asks for feedback then I am allowed to share my opinion. simple as that. it's not hate or me trying to be rude. It's me simply trying to help. like any good reviewer. Sure it would had been nice of me to say something I liked about the model. except there was not much I could imo. The shoes looked ok to me but are not my type of thing so I just left it alone. which left me with nothing much good to say besides the fact I do like the original concept from the arts.
PS: I am sorry if I come off as a jerk to anyone. I do my best to be as nice & friendly while still staying true to my real feelings as possible.
