Why does everyone keep thinking Mobius is the planet in the games. It's not. Ever since Sonic Adventure 2, it's always been referred to as Earth. It's even been stated that it's an alternate version of Earth which meets up at exactly the same time as our earth. 2013. Mobius however is a few hundred years into the future after the planet was destroyed by biological toxins. Hence, Archie universe. T_T

Yeah, but this world is in 2013. Sanic's world isn't until 3000.

Wrong, Sonic's world in the games are in 2013, or whatever the current Earth year is because in the games, it's still called Earth, just a different version of it. Mobius from the comics however, is a couple thousand years in the future.
In my fan fic, it's the game world but with a storyline of having the characters from the comic world (Not counting, Shadow, Sonic, Silver, and Blaze.) with a lot of personality twists. Such as a darker sense, and more violent approache...
