  1. Great. Now I gotta find a new name for my game .
  2. I remember playing on I think, Seaside hill. And there were these colorful loop things that when you touch them or go through them, they like give you a boost or something. If it exists as a sprite, does anyone have or know where to get that sprite? I hope you guys know what I'm talking about :/
  3. Oh god. I was afraid of this. Please don't already be someone working on a game called Sonic Lightspeed.
  4. Well, I did my own logo(See sig), but I don't think it just looks worthy enough. If someone could do better please do. Maybe make the logo like, look a little more flashy, or shiny:D . Oh and, I took away the red and blue speed thingies in my real one so I dun plan on keeping them.
  5. I've attempted to find ways to make it full screen mode without dropping the frame rate. What's strange is it's everything is slow when you make it full screen, but once you set the game to machine independent, everything gets too fast(Well, IMO). Either too slow or fast. I recommend that if you're REALLY desperate to do full screen mode, then make it machine independent. Otherwise, don't do it. Anyways, have any of you ever played Mario 3:Bowser Strikes Back. It's a simple Mario fan game in which you play as Bowser Jr. The game was made from TGF, full screen, and amazingly, everything was at normal speed. Apparently, the creator(I think it's something like Fabian Gross) decided to make it full screen and change all the animation sequence speeds and movement speeds. So there's another way you can make the game at full screen mode. I hope I've helped in some way.
  6. The demo gives me a solid movement feeling. Which, I likey.
  7. The cutscene pics are awesome. They're neat and tidy and make me want to see your game now.
  8. I've seen many paralax tutorials, but I need some help with paralax for a static engine. Since for static movement, you use background objects as obstacles, how would you make paralax since the background has to be an active object in order for paralax to work?
  9. I still don't get it. I'm using TGF, and the only counters I have are XX, YY, Oldx, OldY, angle, speed, maximum speed, acceleration, deacceleration, gravity, gravity forc, onfloor, jumping, update, and direction. Which one do I use?
  10. After I got the Static Engine working, I couldn't figure out how to do simple things such as enemies( Like getting hit by an enemy and then making it so that when you have 0 rings, you'll die.) and stuff like springs. Before I had done static movement, I would make it so that when Sonic touches the spring, he would be destroyed and a fake sonic with another movement would come out from the spring and act as Sonic(Yes I like to use cheap effects) But now I don't know what to do since there are all these sensor thingys attached with Sonic. And one last thing. How do you make Sonic's gravity higher?
  11. I'm using TGF and I can't figure out how to make a Static engine. I've looked at all the tutorials in the main site, but I can't seem to learn anything. Can somebody help me? I also hear that there's an easy way to make working loops if you have a Static engine. If there's another way to make functioning loops without Static movement please do tell. I don't understand how to set flags in an event either. May someone please help me and give me a few game making tips? Thank you .
