  1. Yes, you will. Hyper Sonic will also be an unlockable more than likely. Depending on how slow the pallete shifts are.

  4. The ranking system does not affect game play at all. I was thinking of adding easter eggs for if you got all A's. It's not terribly hard to get an A anyways Besides that, It's horrible trying to figure out a level order...

  7. The end of act level results screen needs to be sped up. I suggest adding up the score in icrements of 10 instead of 1, or even 100. Also, try slowing down some of the enemys. Other than that, I enjoyed this game.

  11. Does anyone out there have a proper tutorial on how to use the MOO object, or something like it? Basically...I want to get Sonic Classic (my fan-game) to work two player online. It may not be possible, but if it is, it would be pretty bitchin. I somehow got split screen working in one frame, so all I really need is something that can send one player/two player controls through the net. Anyone have any ideas?

  14. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could do this smoothly? It's been rather hard with MMF because of the way it handles objects. If I make him land on one side it does it for every side. anyone have any ideas besides making it all one object? I want it to move smoothly...
  15. A repost from the CulT for those who don't go there...I figured it's been a while since I've ever showed anyone whats happened with Sonic 1 MMF since a few months ago. To be honest, I didn't work on it for a good month or two. Well I started up again and I have screenies and info! For the record...here are the features so far that are different from the original sonic 1 - 4 Characters Playable with their different moves - Super Forms - Different special stages - 3 New levels - Save Feature - Custom Music (Your own, original, and midi) - Extra monitors - New badniks - Boss attack mode - Time attack mode - Difficulty modes - Random settings (Such as NO RING mode, LEVEL FLIPPED mode, and NO MONITOR MODE) Possible Features -Custom Characters (OMG I CAN PUT MA FURRY IN IT?!) - Level Editor (about 5 percent chance of happening) - 2 Player mode (outlook is about a 50 percent chance, online is even less) - Boss attack Sonic 2-3k bosses (dunno?) And now on to new screen shots. Looks a lot like sonic 1... ZOMG GIANT ENEMYS! Wonder what purpose these serve besides being all big and what not. Well shit! It takes more than one hit to kill this bitch...3 to be exact. Giant enemys poop out a nice colorful ring. Collect all of these to get a surprise somewhere in the game =P. There is one giant enemy per level. Have fun finding them! Something that none of you should ever need to do...It's basically self explanatory. This part of the game shows you how to play Sonic. This would be good for all of those parents or little kids who always stumble when they come to a loop. A plus side for advanced players going into the tutorial mode is that you can freely mess around with all the items in the games, such as new monitors. I had these put in the game about a month before Cinos did so fuck you all. To collect all of the emeralds you most Indore all of the Sonic and Tails Game Gear special stage levels. Sound fun? It might be... Here is a sneak peak at Boss Mode. Go ahead and see how long it takes you to beat every boss...in a row! No going through any levels...its just hard core boss attack! You can either choose with rings or no rings. You only get three rings in the beginning if you choose. Hope you guys like whats going on so far...I didn't know which forum this belonged in. I hope to have this done by early next year. A lot of the levels are done. I just need to place things.
  16. I like it! It's hard to find a game that uses its own engine, and not one someone else made. I like that.

  18. My Bridge zone looks a lot like the one over at s2beta and I didn't steel anything...but the reflection in the water idea =P. I'll admit it. EDIT: Heres a pic of a WIP jungle zone. Which I am hating right now. Is the background a yay or a nay? I'm really thinking of changing it.
  19. As much as I think this is a great engine. Aren't you doing the work for most people? I mean half the fun was making the engine. Give or take I looked at your original 360 engine for mine, but atleast I made my own engine. Great work though!

  21. I was fairly pissed when I saw that screen shot over at S2beta. I figure whoever did the mockup also used 16X16 grid. Atleast thats what Dami told me =P. *Continues to work on Jungle Zone*
  22. It's actually not to bad when your playing. Most glitches aren't fixed out of lazyness. I hate how SnagIt makes the background look like its freaking out when I record stuff. It normally doesn't look like that. Also...if you don't like Shadow don't play as him. It isn't like the Adventure series where you have to play as him =P
