Ends up the problem was with the debugger. When minimized (didn't even need to disable it), it would run fine. Expand it, and it would tank back down. This happened with the most stripped down version of Worlds. I'm beginning to think the debugger is conflicting with an extension, as it does not happen with a clean, unaltered, new file.

I'm not missing the point of it, and honestly Hez, you are being a dick for bothering me about it out of nowhere. I know what I'm doing here. Also sorry that I don't know how to delete stuff here Spykid cause otherwise I've would have been deleting stuff along time ago...
I stated in my first reply to this topic that I was calling everyone out on it, not just you. I just happened to use your topic to address it. So I guess you could call me a dick for that, but all of what I said before stands. Don't get so emotional, just finish one thing before you move on to the next.

Fist of all the DLC that I mention are FUTURE plans!!! I'm not going to work on them immediately crazy! These images are MOCK UPS, basically previews for the full game that will appear after the game is fully done and they may change during development. I'm busy with business and family matters and there's very little free time on my hands, half the time I don't feel like making sprites because I'm tired and not sleeping right anymore! HONESTLY EVERYONE GET OFF OF MY BACK!!!
You sir, completely missed the point of that post. You shouldn't be thinking of "FUTURE plans!!!" until you have the "CURRENT plans!!!!" done. Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

I believe he's just the spriter. With extra time he can make extra stuff until the team needs him right? I'm not sure how it goes but unless he's a coder that seems okay to me.
I mean, I guess I'm not used to people being so specific. Back in the day a "spriter" could at least do level layouts or some simple coding here and there. I guess I'm living in the past? I mean, especially when these games have around 300 people per "team"
-
If the sprites for the main game are finished he can work on dlc himself. I know dvd well and work with him and he will have most likely finished his part of the main game, im sure the rest of his team are hard at work on the main game
I think my point went over your head.
He could, oh...I don't know, help the team finish the game instead of working on extras?
-
Don't mean to be a dick, and I just happened to decide to make this post in your thread (I've seen it in many others now), but what is it with making "DLC" when the game itself isn't even made yet? I've seen this in numerous fan-games now. Shouldn't you prioritize the actual game being finished before you make extras?

It didn't work.

Check your system usage (mainly CPU usage) when it works badly, and do it again if it happens to work well. Perhaps some background process is slowing everything down... Could be related to Windows updating.
Again, CPU usage is exactly the same. I'm beginning to think maybe it is a windows process that got jacked up. I did get this response from clickteam below. I'll test that theory after work.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Clickteam\Fusion 2.5\Debugger
(replace Fusion 2.5 by Multimedia Fusion 2 if you don't use the build 283 of CF 2.5 as the key hadn't been modified...)
-
Weird. Let's approach this from another angle, then.
Did you install new stuff to your CF2 setup, or did you update Windows or something? Also, Win7 or Win8?
Good idea, the more heads the better.
So now that you mentioned it, a Windows update did roll through. Nothing was modified to CF2 at all.
It also out of nowhere started working normally again, for about 20 minutes, then dropped back down to 19-21 FPS. This continues after restart too, so I'm ALMOST starting to think its hardware...but that's nearly impossible as everything else runs completely normal.
-
Tried about everything. Frame rate is still botched down at 20 FPS. No update caused this either, as it was running fine and then one test run everything went to hell.
-
So recently, at random, almost everything I've been running in Fusion has had its framerate crapped down to around 20-25. I have no idea what is doing this. I recently upgraded to Fusion and everything was running fine, until randomly (I can't in emphasize how random this was) everything started being choppy.
I decided to open up some old builds of Classic to see if it was just my recent build. Everything was choppy. Then I opened up some old builds of Worlds, like...way old. They were choppy.
Then I opened up MMF2 again, and reopened up all this stuff. Ran smooth.
Any ideas? It ran fine in Fusion until I hit run frame once and it hasn't been the same since.- 1

Legal reasons?
The hell were these guys doing?
I'll bet all the money in my bank account it's a lie. It's a great scapegoat for not finishing a fan-game. They NEVER go after fan-games unless you try to sell them. They never have, and they never will.

Yes, I've had many people asking me for 2P Tails. A contribution would be extremely appreciated, and I'd even compensate you for the time.* I'll also see about giving you access to the Dropbox folder in which Delta development resides in, for speedier integration.
*In the form of a game on Steam
Alright. PM me and I'll get to working on that.

is Tails AI really that in demand? I'll port and clean up Classic's Tails into worlds if it's that big of a demand. Any other gimmicks form the game I can do as well.
-
wooaahh fellers, it was just a question. Mean't no harm by it. I'm drawing new sprites for mine as well, and I have no problem with it. Was just a simple question!
-
Hey, thanks! ^^ Yeah, i know, the background will change, the "black" horizon will disappear, and the hud will be completed today!, its only a basic "test stage" for the engine, because i will use this for the Special Stage of a classic sonic game project who i working, and a bonus stage for Tails in Sonic Evolution (advanced xD), soo.. much things need a change xD
Oh, and the third logo for your game, looks amazing!, its very good, and combines with your game XD, i like it ^^
EDIT:
Not that my special stage was that original to begin with, I'm curious if you're going to be changing the sprites at all? Just so that our special stages don't look...identical. I've gotten all mine done and I really don't want to start from scratch

Tried to mesh all three styles of egg-pod into one. How'd I do?

Today I made a new miniboss during the afternoon.
Then MMF2 fucked itself into oblivion (event list scroll glitch) and I lost it.
Then my netbook's battery cable, which as said above isn't working well, turns out to be "off" with bad contact or whatever the whole time and the netbook shuts down without warning...
...while I was saving some remade stuff.
Thankfully, the file doesn't seem to be damaged.
OR IS IT?
Why don't I save all the time? Well, my netbook just happens to have gotten strangely slow in some aspects for whatever reason since some days ago, so everytime I save in MMF2 I now have to wait more than a minute to continue.
Thanks for reading Emerson's computer issue horror story of the day. Good night.
Also, I finished TTZ3 some days ago, so after I redo this guy and make an *something else* I'll start working seriously on other levels. If this thing doesn't explode.
Edit:
In about 2 hours with some improvements, I see.[qimg]http://sonicunited.org/hsfqmtif/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1619&stc=1&d=1359126492[/qimg]
I see you borrowed the boss from the concept of that "sonic 4" project over at retro. Honestly, I've been waiting and waiting for someone to do it. I almost did myself! Hope it works as well as it looks.

I'd like to know how he did some of the 3d parts in it. Besides that...meh

These things usually happen when versions differ.
Make sure your joystick2.mfx file is in both the extensions and data/runtime directories (also HWA directory in case you use it). Also check that the two (or three) are of the same version.
I did all of that.
It actually ended up needing direct X to even load. Weird, but I guess I learned my lesson? Don't even ask how I figured it out.

I did a fresh install of windows 7 the other day, and it normally would always work fine with MMF2 in the old install I had. I reinstalled MMF2, put all my extentions in, and now it claims it can't find it, when it's clearly in the extentions folder. I then decided to just copy the whole folder of the old install of MMF2 into my new windows program files folder. It still claims it cannot find it. Then, when I boot into my old windows install, it opens everything fine. Any ideas?

More for music than anything. Act remixes for each act.

Your post gave me diabetes
Honestly man, it's a hard, harsh lesson to learn, but nobody gives a shit about your "concepts" or "ideas". Not you specifically, but everyones. You generally will get positive feedback when you have a solid foundation, like a complete level, complete working concept, etc. If I posted every inch of my progress on my game, I'd probably have 50 posts a day.

I have that. I was looking for more detail than this. Also was thinking lacewing may be a better alternative?

Eh, I really don't think its bad as long as you at least change the palette and mix it up a bit. I come for a refreshing take on levels, not for completely new art.
