  1. It's possible, but probably not worth the time... Every object of course would have to be made up of many different pieces, and you'd have to animate them with code. 3E modifier object may be able to help with that a little in that since I think it allows you to pin objects to each other in specified locations (so arms and legs stay arms and legs...) And TGF1 has this really bad object limit...
  2. From the little bit I got to play, (some of the first level, until it gave me a memory violation error, crashed and bluescreened windows...) I liked it... It was fun without being overly complicated or advanced. I like it.. I also like the choice of screen resolution... 640x480? while I like something slightly less (512x384) the bigger resolution does allow you to do more with your level design. Can't wait to see the rest... But one thing, the game seems to be a resource hog... took forever to start, locked up both processor cores and crashed eventually... Is this a gm issue with intel core duo? I'll try it on my laptop or other desktop later...
  3. Yeah, but I'm thinking that there will be some decent 3d game creation tools soon enough... For one, assuming turboferret's irrlitch extension really is as good as they want us to think it is in making 3d stuff easier, and yes, you'll get people begging for engines...
  4. I saw this on digg a month or so again... This is addiciting for a while... *adds to distraction list*
  5. Hmm... I might try it out... Just hope the free one isn't good enough for me to add to my list of distractions...
  6. Definantly Spiderman 3... One of the few movie series I thought was done very well...
  7. Blue Frenzy... You are still amazing at backgrounds and overall graphic style in your games... I do think though, that soon, we'll see 2d fangames that rivial or even beat the quality of Sonic Team's, but at that time, it will be probably a year or so and we'll see a lot of 3d fangames being worked on. Now before I get distracted again... I'm going to clean up Tails' AI a bit more...
  8. I'm liking most of what I see here... hmm... just to make a presence as we do have some newbies here (and people who didn't see them the first time...) Yes, these were posted in the old boards... I know... All from Sonic's Vacation... The SAGE demo will (hopefully) show a lot more... At the very least, the first 2 stages and boss... Let's just say, you'll never fight bosses the same way twice in this game*prepares tetris boss match AI*...
  9. Hey, uh... anyone happen to still have the Critically Acclaimed *shot* SAGE 8 release of Sonic Velocity? I'm going to start my website again (soon enough) and want to have the games I've done on it... Problem is, I lost the cca of the SAGE8 release as well as the exe and other files with it... I do have an older backup but it's missing 2 stages and the expansions I made to all the others... Sooo... anyone still got it? thanks
  10. Awaits PC version... Though I'm sure I could get it to emluate properly...
  11. You'd do random(3)+7 Here's a general formula. just do random(max-min)+min where in this case min=7 and max=9
  12. 50% more? must be really low initially then since it's still sluggish to me...
  13. I saw a tutorial on the old Clickteam forums... There might be a sample on the Daily Click though... I haven't visited the site in a year or so... Who knows what's there now...
  14. Ok, I just downloaded and started it but I have to say this first... The initial presentation for the title screen is close to being great... Make that logo for Sonic Utopia zoom or dash in or something... Not bad.. I like the level design, though at times the first level felt Sonic advanceish but you didn't make the same mistakes Sega did in the game. Only thing I don't like is Sonic's acceleration. Yes, I know that's how they did it in the old games but that doesn't mean they did it right either... It might be just me but the acceleration could be a tiny bit faster. Only a little, since the way the levels are designed, they require a relatively slow acceleration Really nice, will the game be done by SAGE?
  15. XD Well you can get your revenge by playing me in Hunters... *scrambles for DS to put code in sig*
  16. you'll need to use the random number function. just do: subtract from counter -> random(4)+1 and that should work
  17. Sonic can work in an RPG... I have some plans for a non traditional Sonic RPG I'll do after Sonic's Vacation is done... (probably won't be until december...) Of course, both over world and action stages, but not in the way you'd expect. I won't say any more than that... Let's just say I finally found good use for the Coconut Hunter engine...
  18. Looks nice... I like the use of those backgrounds nobody ever seems to use...
  19. Jaw drops with awe... Wow... I thought it was great the last time you released a demo 4(?) years ago
  20. It was decent when I played it first... version .04 or whatever old version I did... Wonder what changes they made...
  21. Hopefully I'll get to play you guys Mario Kart 055900 637722 Metroid Prime Hunters (I do suck at the multiplayer though Play me when you want to feel good about yourself...) 0172 5241 3559 I share this DS with my bro, but he rarely plays online... Hopefully he doesn't mess with the username...
