Well that gives me more reason to go to Leipzig in Germany, their show allows public entry on the last day. Plus Germany is much closer to me than California.

I have seen Ehrgeiz only once since it came out, one second-hand copy in a GAME store. It looks pretty spiffy though.

Cool Sport and BG&E are awesome. Although I sold BG&E before I completed it *shot* It was very good while I still had it anyway.

Netbattle is pretty damn fun.

Team Buddies. Ridiculously underrated and generates the same amount of fun as SSBM at parties. Probably my favourite game ever.

It's not freaky, it's awesome. And the Hourglass Nebula has always freaked me out.

I'm currently working my way through Emerald. And that glitch is pretty fun. Pokemon is by far the best game to use Gameshark codes on due to the amount of fun you can have.

DW, you think too much. And I didn't know the classic controller came bundled with the Wii. It looks very stylish. The GCN controller ports are very handy.

I just hope the new controller helps franchises rather than ruins them.

For all you folks with 360s (yes, both of you) and those buying them soon, Ninety-Nine Nights (N3) now has a demo on Xbox Live for you all to download. The game itself plays pretty much like a Dynasty Warriors clone, only less China and more goblin slaying. You go around hammering the attack buttons (well, that's what I do) and slaying vast groups of goblins, around 40 in each group. If you can imagine the soldiers fighting you in DW, it's pretty much the same only with a much larger draw distance. Not that there is anything to see really, as the environments are very bland greys and the enemies all look identical. Not only that, but you have an army of about 40 soldiers to command around that do pretty much nothing except make it more difficult to find some goblins mixed in with them during a battle. At least friendly fire is turned off so you can't rip your own team to shreds. Fortunately, the main characters look spiffy and the attack effects are excellent, especially the blue trails made by your sword-on-a-stick (I have no diea what it actually is called). The gameplay is pretty repetitive although I worked my way through the demo so it must have been somewhat entertaining. Worth a try anyhow. My only other complaint is the voice acting is pretty laughable and not lip-synced (or even attempted to lip-sync) so that detracts from the experience. I'm unaware just how bad anime dubs can get seeing as very little is shown in the UK, but this isn't fantastic. An example of this (and also poor translation) is where you reach an area surrounded by imposing goblin tribal statues and watchtowers that are pelting you with arrows. At this the point, the main character exclaims "What this means is that we are not welcome here." Judge for yourself.

If SSBB isn't the best game on the system, the Wii will suck.

Yeah, the simple fact that there were bajillions of PS2 games within even the first year of launch certainly sold many. I mean, the 360 has had what...20 games so far at the most in the UK, and at least half are ports.

Would be awesome if you could do that. The time limit may actually increase replayability as you can't fit everything in in one go, which is good. I'd love to barricade myself in a shop and attempt to fend of the zombies for the entire 3-day limit.

Sonic 360 is one of the reasons I got an Xbox. Can't wait for it. I bet it'll end up sucking jsut like Heroes.

PS3 won't fail, there are enough idiots still around to buy it. Sony fanboyism runs too deep.

I'm definitely looking forward to this. It just looks like such a ridiculous amount of carnage packed into one game. I jsut hope the mall is a decent size. I do get the feeling that combat could become repetitive though. Admittedly there are many weapons, but watching the videos they all have similar or identical animations.
