  9. I just got TGF2, and when I click the Run button to run my game, it gets ready to run it, and then the game closes. Any help?
  10. umm... What's this line: system("PAUSE > NUL"); I learned: system("PAUSE"); What's the "NUL" part for? [Edit] Figured it out. Removes the "Press any key to continue" that is usually outputed. I just compiled it, and seriously wished it read input from a file, so you didn't need to input everything yourself at runtime. It's also much cleaner than any code i've written...
  11. In *some* cases, yes. Mainly because theese functions would give precison equal to Sonic Pocket Adventure with it's line based slopes.

Back on topic: Collision Event with object slope: if expression keyboard_check(vk_right) is not true set the gravity to 0 in direction 0 set variable s_jump to 0 move in direction direction at most speed till a contact with solid objects set the vertical speed to 0 else set the sprite to slopeRun with scale factor 1 set the vertical speed to -Y slope movement set the horizontal speed to -X slope movement And you correctly plug in the values.

  14. Umm... I never said that, I simply find it hard to understand. I use it, personally. (but on very rare occasions...)
  15. I tried to make sonic run normally on a slope, but it got really glitchy. Oh, and the slopes were origanally for Boost Factory, that's why they look like that. The sonic sprite is in the air due to me using a diffrent slope run, and Sonic's sprite is only 32x48. Oh and about SoaH? Trying to d-load a song that is at full quality and you want to have a half quality (as in lower bitrate) sound to keep file size small, on dialup, PAIN. (I live somewhere where there FIBER OPTIC CABLES RUNNING ARROUND MY HOUSE, AND I CAN'T USE THEM!)

  17. I have a 10 gb hdd, my swap file is 768 mb, my laptop was a high-end buisness machine from 2000-2002, and my graphics card screws at the worst times. Oh, and i have all (stable) GM versions from 2.0 to 6.1
  18. I'd pay only if the price was less than $100 Else i'll get my friend to torrent it for me and give me a CD.
  19. That's about $500, and there's no way it's that much. I hope it's smaller than 200 mb!!!
