  1. Hey, How would you make an active object whose in static movement sink down in quicksand and able to become free while jumping? I'm using The Games Factory and I would need the events for this, if possible.
  2. Hey gang, Does anybody know the function for how to throw hammers and boomerangs as the hammer bros. do? I'm working on a new project a little but it won't be released anytime soon, I need the function for The Games Factory.
  3. For those who didn't know. I have released the second demo of STH:Origin of STH2, it can be found at my site. I'm goin' to take a little break from making this game before I start creating Crusty Canyon Zone (a.k.a Dust Hill the lost desert.)
  4. Does anbody know where I can find backgrounds of Dust Hill Zone? (the lost desert of STH 2 Beta). I have some parts but I think it won't be enough to make a level. I will give credit to people providing these backgrounds.
  5. Sorry about that, here are some screenies!! This shows some parts changed in Spring Yard Zone. I made a sampler to show what Crusty Canyon Zone, Sakura Seaside and Underground Zone will look like, however, it was on my USB stick which died on me. I could always make a new one, though. I'll probably start creating it and show it to ya'll next week. I will also release Demo #2 soon.
  6. Hey gang, My Sonic fangame is going pretty well, I've fixed all bugs (including the spindash one.), the ending of Spring Yard Zone is changed and I added a starpost in that zone. Basically Emerald Hill Zone and Great Bark Zone are the same. Now, for those who don't know a thing about this fangame, it's basically Sonic leaving Northern Mobius and going to the Southern Isle after Dr.Robotnik's defeat, this is when Sonic meets Tails for the first time. Overall, this will be my version of STH2 Beta. Now, for those who already heard about this game, I have a poll and it's about if I should can Sakura Seaside. I heard someone was creating a submarine how-to and that'll be helpful for me making this zone. BTW, the zones are as followed. Spring Yard Zone Emerald Hill Zone Great Bark Zone (a.k.a Wood Zone, the past of Chemical Plant Zone) Crusty Canyon Zone (the lost Desert Zone) Casino Night Zone (Beta version) Sakura Seaside Zone (my custom made zone, supposed to be the past of Oil Ocean, this might be taken out of game.) Underground Zone (from STH2 Game Gear.) Hidden Temple Zone Mt.Robotnik(Robotnik took over Hill Top Zone, and the last level.) Note: A Chaos Emerald will be in each zone but will be either in act 1 or 2. Spring Yard doesn't have a emerald, but it will if Sakura Seaside is canned.
  7. What I mean is that when the events are created to spindash right, it works perfectly but for the left, it charges to dash but when I stop pressing the key to charge, Sonic is still in his spindash charge animation and the spindash to the left fails.
  8. Hey gang, I'm having a problem with spindashing. See, I used Rage's Static Engine for my Sonic fangame STH:Origin of STH2 (many of you guys heard of this.) My question is is there another way to make spindashes for both directions because when my character spindashes to the right, it works correctly but when it comes to the left, it's not very good. What am I doing wrong, and I'm using TGF to let you guys know.
  9. Hey gang, I have a question. How can you make an enemy shoot when it's facing the character you're playing and not shoot when it's not facing the character the player is controlling. BTW, I'm using the TGF, so I need the events of how to do this. Thanks!

  11. Hey gang, I need some major help. My Sonic project is gone due to a USB stick problem, does anybody remember I asked ya to test my game? Does anybody still have the .gam file because I REALLY wanna finish the Sonic game? I don't wanna disappoint you guys because I REALLY wanna finish this project. BTW, my e-mail address is [email protected] if anybody has the file, you can just e-mail it to me.
  12. Could you Rael? That would help me alot. I changed the events of the sign to the way it spins (STH Genesis style) but it still random though.
  13. Hey gang, Does anybody know to make the stage sign at the end of each act spin while it's up in the air? (Sonic GG style). Right now, I use the path movement and I have the events down for randomizing the sign (to see if the sign will show, Robotnik, Tails, Sonic, etc.) I'm using TGF and should I use another movement for the sign instead of path movement?
  14. Slingerland: Actually, those turtles do walk, if you hit the enemy near the wing fortress zone as it passes by. Basically, the turtle is from Sky Chase Zone.
  15. Hey gang, Does anybody know or have the turtle walking sprites from Sonic the Hedgehog 2? I have the turtle's falling sprite but all I need is the turtle walking.
  16. Hey gang, I need help with how to make chaos emeralds dissappear when collected. You see, I use TGF and I have a global value for chaos emerald. Should I create another global value for when I chaos emerald is collected in a level so it won't appear again in the level. Basically, my sonic fangame will be like STH 1& 2 on the game gear (find emeralds in levels.)
