  1. Thanks LarkSS. So you've already completed this new pack, you don't surprise me, even if it is a quite difficult one :D

    Some day, if you have time to waste, you know that I always would be glad to publish a new pack from you. The last one was impressive.

    Unfortunately, I didn't found a better solution to make hints grey out correctly. But I'm still working on NemeGraphe new features, so stay tuned :)

  2. Finally, I come back with the final version of the game, v 1.0 !!!

    I've heard all your suggestions, and particularly thanks LarkSS for your help (the menu can already handle more than 4 puzzles ( use arrows on the left )).

    Improvements:

    -> Machine independent speed implemented ( the game should be faster )

    -> Sending pictures and packs is now working ( new server again )

    -> Updated saving picture function in edition mode

    -> Few bugs fixed ( I hope that's all )

    About this new website, I would be more than happy if someone could check english mistakes and sentences. I will add this person in the credits of course.

    Now, I will start to promote this game so say me good luck and thanks everybody for your assistance.

  3. Thanks, your comments help me to make this game more and more complete.

    LarkSS, I thought about this process, and it is possible, even if it may take time. So maybe I'll try to implement this after the v.1.0 . But I agree with you, It will be nice to see ;)

    This kind of game is called Nonogram, Picross, Logigraph or Hanjie...

    But I think this is not a good idea to release it as shareware because I want to gather a community around this game so I need a lot of people.

    By the way, have you found any bug in this new version ? ( No problem when you send a picture with the connect button, in order to test the new server ? )

    A year later, I present you a huge update of Nemegraphe, which is now 0.5. It could be the last beta release so if you are not busy, please report bugs.

    As usual, if you already have the game ( I hope you haven't deleted it ^^ ), you can update inside. Otherwise, goto page 1.

    Improvements:

    -> Some bugs fixed

    -> Skins ! ( 3 for the moment )

    -> 2 new official packs : +45 pictures

    -> You can make your own pack

    -> You can test a picture you've created

    -> You can load bmp/jpg... files as pictures

    -> You can be aware of an update at starting

    -> Other things I can't remember now

    If you already developed a method to do this, sorry. =/ I had some time to waste. =P

    Indeed, I've already implemented this function to Nemegraphe. It's similar to your method but simplier, and it takes only 4 events. Anyway, your tut is very well made, so well done, it can help a lot of people who wants to try overlay.

    Hope that this new function will help some people to make pics faster.

    I'm almost sure that the next release will be the 1.0 because I think there are no bug anymore. In that case, I will send the games to other websites.

    I've found few bugs in edition mode so we're still in beta testing.

    Anyway, I will add 2 new feature in the next release:

    -> Possibility to load a bmp file inside the Img edition mode.

    -> Possibility to test a picture in the edition mode.

    And there will be a SAGE 2007 Pack... :)

  7. Thank you, and don't worry: this bug has been already reported in details by rogueyoshi and it will be solved with the beta 0.4.

    The little image is named tutoriel.icon or LarkSS.icon. It's just an active picture :)

    EDIT: beta 0.4 is out !

    • Important bug fixed ( save a game )
    • Fade in/out of numbers at loading the game fixed
    • Connection to send a picture improved ( tell me if there is no error )
    • Music loop in edition mode fixed
    • English mistakes corrected ( thanks to Rogueyoshi again )

  8. And maybe you can add a music for your pack ( put a music file named LarkSS.muz in your folder ). Mods ( mod,it,xm...) and ogg runs fine ( the music must be less than 1 Mb ).

    Anyway, an update will be available in the next hours.

    EDIT: Beta03 is available. Use the online mode to download it ( 996Kb ). Tell me if the update was installed successfully.

  9. I just found out that this game isnt a new concept...nonographing is 22 years old! Still though, this game is flippin awesome!

    I haven't hidden it. I've said "you will recognize the concept". Many similar games exists on the net :)

    I believe that is incorrect. As a counter-example, I bring up the following puzzle:

    When there are multiple solutions, 720 to be exact, so you can't complete the picture, it's simple. In the readme txt, I've said that I will add a feature to know if a picture is completable.

    In the Free mode, you can make hypothesis, okay, but in both modes, you won't fill the board at random ! It's as logic as Sudoku.

    For the slowdowns, I suggest to close every big application. It runs perfectly on many computers.

    EDIT: I've tested your pack, LarkSS, and I was very impressed. But I don't recommend to share a pack like this, because there are some values to be changed in other files... . On the other hand, please sort the pics by difficulty :D ( The Starcraft Wraith is quite hard, but it can be completed without guessing, so the Strict mode is appropriate )

    As it is written in Readme txt, you'll be able to share a pack yourself in the future, but not right now. For the moment, use the connect button to send me the pictures, or send me directly an email because I need to test your pack before release it. Indeed, just only one picture have to be removed: it's winamp because there are 2 solutions. I'll edit it and your pack will be released as an official pack :)

  10. Xtreme, you should consider stop releasing freeware versions and release it as a shareware indie game. It's so addictive and has potential for the market :o

    I don't know if the game has a commercial potential but I want to make a community around this game and I militate for freewares :)

  11. Don't worry, I'm making some packs that you will be able to download with the online mode. The next pack will contain a lot of puzzles :)

    About the maniac mode, it's not a priority. I'm planning the VS Online Battle.

    It would be great if I could make a special Sonic Pack for SAGE 2007, but I need the members' help ( I've made few Sonic Pictures )

  12. I wanted to make this game simple, according to the original concept. In the readme file, I said that few graphics will be changed, but it won't be a major update. It's still a beta version ^^

    I appreciate your help, rogueyoshi. As all the persons who helped me, you'll have a place in the credits :)

    It's my second release on SFGHQ ( cf. Naturyon ). I've just finished another reflection game called Nemegraphe. You'll certainly recognize the concept. It's a beta version so I'm sure there are some bugs to find out. There's also an editor where you can make your own pictures. I hope that all the forum's members will create a special Sonic category in order to submit a pack for SAGE 2007. To send me a picture, use the Connect button in the edition mode.
