Hello all, first off, no I didnt abandon Sonic the hedgehog:Emerald Chaos, and I do intended to get back to it here very shortly but I spent the last week doing a little side project just for fun, titled " Astro Hunter X". Its not a sonic game but instead a little arcade space shooter semi-similar to Geometry wars on the Xbox 360. Id like for everyone to try playing it and post their High Score here just to see who's the best player. Currently I was able to reach a score of 16204 and a kill count of 1802. When you fire the game up just hit the F1 key to get the basics of gameplay(a quick read) and have fun, also post any bugs you find, and if the game is generally well recived I may add more weapons and phases. Have fun and lemme know what ya think! Oh and post those highscores! and heres a screenie but i wont give away all the cool stuff, you'll have to play it. NOTE: please check my latest post in this thread for the latest version to be attached.

since im not familiar with kains sonic 3 engine what is it programed in? mmf/gm/ Anything else? What have you tried so we can rule them out? OR figure out where you may have gone wrong whilst trying to use those options?

You mean the electic zapper thing? ya but again its animated so fast you cant really tell, it flickers like real electrcity arking.

Whats blurry? The electric zap thingy? Ihat just one from of it, when animated you cant really tell cuz it arcs around and changes color really fast. Thanks for the welcome I found a couple hours this morning and decided to work on the game, I finished off act 1 of stage 5 and a new release with that act is downloadable in my games topic thread..

Do you get that error everytime you try to play? oh and here's a couple new screenies, not much to show really, but i did complete act 1 of stage 5. The new electric zappy gate thing. I also added in a shockwave effect to the bumpers cuz it looks badda55.

Awesome! So what have you heard? LOL. Anyway I'm just about to test the stuff I just added to act 1 of stage 5 (Junkyard Albatross), Think im almost ready to finish of that act and start act 2. Should I upload a new version with just act 1 or wait untill I've completed the full stage 5?

Well I did some work on the game, added in a new gimic for stage , a little electric thing that zaps electricity back and forth. Also built a bit more on to the first act of that stage. Almost ready to start act 2. Sorry the updates are so slow, its just I work a lot and soon I'm going back to school so things are gonna be nuts for a while. I'm gonna be really bummed out if by next SAGE I dont have anything new to offer other then the first act of stage 5...

A lot, job related stress, messed up parties, xmas rushes, insanety abound everywhere.

Nothing that isnt hard to fix, I got a list written down of small glitches I need to fix. And ya I missed being here lol. I should do another play through the game just to see if theres any I might have missed. Heh, Nah I'm not dead just very busy these days.

Hello, I know not much of an update but I am still working on the game when I get the time and patience lol. Everything has been so crazy with work, dealing with a lot of lifes tough choices ect. Anyway I'm still working on act 1 of junkyard Albatross(stage 5). Been doing my best to make it have multile pathways in that stage, I'm currently trying to fix a few bugs with some switch related level gimmics. And theres one or two glitches i need to fix in other stages too.. so much to do so little time, but i wanted to let everyone know though that the project isnt dead and hopefully by next SAGE I'll have enough new stuff to warent showing the game again next year. I'll post here again if anything really important concerning the game pops up.

well i got my copy today. it has its ups and downs. Ive never seens so many load screens in my life though, c'mon is it really nessasary to loadscreen for a 3 line dialogue box then load screen for a 5 second minigame, then load screen for the blasted score tally screen then load screen again to get back to the town map? the 360 has multiple processors and a crap load of other high end stuff built in, in this day and age load tiems should be very minimal. When the only thing i remember from playing a game for 6 hours is "now loading" with a picture of a map of soleanna. somebody friggen failed in the design process. also the over used alot of the same gimics. theres 3 board riding stages for sonic. there are about 4 instances with a lot of anime styled flick-flacking off of random objects like with the number pads in sonic adventure. which ill admit was fun at first but after the frequeant deaths from being catapuled in to oblivion or getting screwed by a camera that locks you in place.... oy...

I'm on DW's side of the fence, i can't stand cellphones. Screw textmessaging, why spend 15 minutes typing out something with bad english when I could say it in about 30 seconds with slightly better english(I have bad grammer) and I can't stand when I'm at work and trying to take someone's order whilst their on the phone.

well it wasnt creepy becuase we've both already confessed to liking eeach other, plus we've been sort of dating for about 2 weeks now. so no it wasnt creepy. but yeah that comercial is just wrong.
