The fact that the console still requires the fuckin kinect means I won't be buying it. I've hated the kinect now and I will always hate the kinect. There won't be a time where this device "clicks" with me, I think It's a useless piece of hardware that isn't aimed towards traditional gamers. Also I don't like the idea of a camera that is always on (I don't care how much they say it won't be watching) and has the potential to keep watching me do things.

I guess I fail to see the uproar over the whole demos running on PCs thing. I thought this was a fairly common during console launches with games/demos/e3 presentations running off a pc dev machine or something? Its been a long time since the last console launch though so I can't remember.
It's not that, it's the fact that if what I was reading is correct (titan gfx cards) that's not even what either system are running with natively, those cards are leaps and bounds better than what the system will have. I think it's a very deceptive practice, OH LOOK AT THESE GRAPHICS! and when you get the system you're let down by some much less pretty looking stuff.
Those titan cards are monsters, not to mention the xbone and ps4 will be using custom ATI cards, not nVidia

There's a rumor floating around that any xbone demos that were playing weren't actually from teh console but on souped up pc's running with nvidia titan gfx cards. They have some pictures of them opening up the cabinets and you can see pc's inside.
If it's true, that's just the icing on the cake at how badly microsoft has turned.

so it almost looks like the wii u and 3ds versions will play slightly different, correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't it seem that the 3ds version plays a bit faster (melee style fast) than the wii U version? Of course there's some framerate issues on some of the segments, but overall it looks like it plays faster. Either way I can't wait to see what's in store for the growing roster.

Nintendo stream was pretty damn good, smash looks great and Mega man omgwuuuuut.
Sony won the battle of the conferences and they won it hard. I have already preordered my ps4 on amazon and i look forward to finally getting it

The icing on the cake to this console slaughter would be nintendo coming out tomorrow announcing a wii U price drop and then showing off like 10 or so much needed wii U titles.
Sony seriously pulled no punches, it was an awesome show and I was laughing for like the final 10 minutes.

low production value? P3P is considered the definitive P3 experience where ever I've checked. Sure they took out all the moving around on in the non tarterus sections (which is actually a god send, fuck moving around all those areas). You still get to move around just fine in Tarterus AND the combat system mirrors P4, especially with the fact that you can control your characters. Not to mention the fact that they added in an entire set of social links for the female main character....what was low production value about it??

- nintendo is in the perfect position to boost sales and hype with how lame the other system reveals have been. All they have to do is dump a metric shit ton of wii U games to the press and it's over. The wii u is suffering mainly because it's got such a tiny library, and if they can pull in the user base, the devs will follow.
- I'm interested in sony's presentation, they've gone up in quality a lot over the years and I hope they continue the upward trend.
- Square....good god, the only thing they can excite me with at this point is that GOD DAMN FF7 REMAKE /angryfist
- M$ is hilariously making the wrong moves and then trying to fix these moves, still the system is garbage so far.
- I can't wait to see what ubisoft has in store, I really enjoy the games ubi has put out over the years.

Sonic X was awful for me because that stupid kid had to tag along in everything, if they kept the station square vibe and everything but left out the human companion element it probably would've been much better.

My favorite AoSTH episodes were the emerald ones. That show had very little connection to the actual games, but those episodes were just fun, and they connected which was also pretty awesome.

I have been trying to track down the old old sonic anime movie in digital form but haven't had much luck. Do you still happen to have that webspace dump of all things animated sonic related?
EDIT: I own the VHS of this movie, don't think anyone will try to white knight this thread, but let it be known I own the movie already.

Normally if it were any other company making this game, I'd be fucking pissed, 4 tied up just about every loose end possible and the series was pretty much DONE.
But this is motherfucking Hideo Kojima, and he shits gold, he has yet to fail me.
I can only hope these 2 games don't go to ps4, I would like to play it on ps3 asap.

So apparently the new Tomb Raider is definitely as good as the older ones, with all the puzzle elements and stuff, for some reason Squeenix decided rather than market the game to the fans of those types of games, they'd just show on rails scenes of her getting her shit kicked in for all their marketing of the game. I have no clue how that's smart, but ok.
