I don,t know if it's just me, Sonic Dash link gives a 404 error. Meanwhile, is Sonic Rex a good replacement? I downloaded that instead.

Hey guys, I've been working on different ideas with chearacters and I've always wanted to make a game based on them. I have almost no experience with creating games, I have game maker 8.1 and I have past experience with very very simple games that didn't require coding. I have sprites and the like, I know how to use sheets to make animated sprites. I want to learn everything else: from making levels to score HUB. It's hard to find good tutorials and I'm willing to learn GML. I've looked at Sonic Retro stuff, but I have no idea how to actually program it. Oh, I did download the REX Engine, but I dont know how to use engines. All in all, I'm looking for direction.
