  1. Yeah, for the people like me who didn't see E3 because school, here's the KH3 trailer. Hyped as fuck, and now I have a concrete reason to get a PS4. Hooooly shiiiiit...! EDIT: Why is MS even in the console business? Just focus on Windows, you've got enough to handle with that. Plus, you have a really big gamer-base under it. WHY enter the console wars with shitty consoles in the first place?!
  2. Okay, so it wasn't that low, but the fact that they took a 3GB+ game, added things to it and crammed all that on one 1.4GB UMD... Some things just aren't what they were in the PS2 version, mostly from a visual standpoint, but the point is that it's noticeable. ...A~nd then there are times when the voice clips in Minako's story don't match up with what the dialogue box says. Again, this is really just because they crammed it all into one UMD. Could have been on two, but it wasn't.
  3. Sad indeed... But you know, as long as I can play as a chick in P5 without getting a low-production-value handheld version of the game, I'll be happy. (I'm looking at you, P3P.) Well, I guess I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled in September... And teach myself enough grammar to have half a clue what's being said. Some new Kanji wouldn't hurt either.
  4. I really hope they announce a new Persona or Zero Escape game, those are my guilty pleasure games to be totally honest. And I still need to go play Persona 1 and 2... Finished 4 recently and I'm running through 3-FES pretty quickly.
  5. Oh gods... Phantasmal Thicket is just made of sex. I can't even... I'm done. I have heard the best music out there now. Scratch that off my bucket list.
  6. I think he was kidding. He does that on occasion. On topic... I honestly like both versions, but I'll wait until they come out to pass any real judgement on them. EDIT: My only real complaint with the 3DS version is the same as Sereph, the fail stream-loading scenes. And no, I don't mind the camera in the Wii U version. It's zoomed out enough to remind me that I can in fact go to the other side of the tube and run around in a non-enemy-infested portion of the level.
  7. Yes, that was the mods. We refrain from talking about such things just in case. As a whole, we speak English, though you can find a few who speak other languages on here, it's not worth the time. ...And most people will cry foul if you make a game in anything but English, anyway. Either one works. Regular is cheaper by about $100, so that's what I have. They do the same things as of build 257. (Prior to that, Dev had some exclusive features.) Currently, the only advantage to Dev is that you don't have to list ClickTeam in the game's credits if you charge for the game.
  8. Anyway, all that said... Dash, if at all possible, I would recommend porting this to Worlds while you still have very little to port. The farther along you get, the harder it will be to do, should you choose to. I say this because, to my knowledge, most of us here use MMF and have at least glanced through Worlds' code, so we could help you out best if you used it, too. Of course, you don't have to. There are probably quite a few people here who use GM, and though I'm not familiar with their names, I'm sure they'll reveal themselves to you if you ask.
  9. File > Build > Application Save as type: "Stand-alone applications (*.exe)" It should take you a grand total of 10 seconds to find for the first time.
  10. What. No, just...no. Do your research, kiddo. With regards to the topic: This doesn't looks so bad so far, I'm impressed. My only real nitpick would be something along the lines of "Don't mix art styles." To go into more detail there, your backdrops look very incomplete, which in-and-of itself isn't a huge issue, given how early in development this is, it's something worth noting. Also, it would be wise, for presentation purposes, to make your debug and sensor objects invisible, because it's a little jarring to see a giant red block in the middle of nowhere. Other than that, just polish things up before the next release, that's all I can tell you, since I don't use GM... I'm an MMF guy, sorry.
  11. ...Now to see how many people shoot me in the face. I mean really, apparently I can do nothing right, ever. Meh, might as well roll with it. Here ya' go!
  12. Believe it or not, yes I was. ...Now how old do you feel...? I never bothered with Secret Rings, but I have seen it in action, so I can see what you're talking about. Thankfully the fact that the levels look so tubular makes me think that you can explore to your heart's content should you choose to. I assume the trailer was just going in a straight line to keep with the whole "gotta go fast" thing that Sonic is so known for.
  13. Okay, now I need a Wii U. I fucking loved Galaxy (and I feel like I'm a minority there, for whatever reason yet to be explained), and this game looks like it's taking that and throwing Sonic into it. Plus Wisps, which can only be good considering how awesome Colours was.
  14. I said "it seems" so I was totally implying speculation and not actually using the correct usage of the term or something. Mmhmm... Yeah thanks, ila. Er, all three of you, really...
  15. Of course it didn't. I didn't expect it to. That phrase is used to denote a lack of confidence. Along the lines of "I think" or "maybe." Regrettably... And I'm not helping, I know.
  16. So Tails and Knuckles will be back, it seems.
  17. And that matters because? You could just call it an evolution of the spindash, one that's far more useful because you don't have to come to a screeching stop to use it.
  18. Did I ever say they played anything like eachother?
  19. Y'know... I'm beginning to wish that they'd acknowledge the rift between fans here. If they gave us an option as to how we want to control Sonic, that'd be fucking amazing. < Do you want to Dreamcast Era controls, or Modern Era controls? > And then you pick one, and the world is happier.
  20. I would rather it be a 3D platforming game that focuses more on level design than speed. Sonic can survive without speed, but not without fun gameplay. (And no, the two are not one and the same, though they can very easily go hand-in-hand.)
  21. For this to come from me may be uncalled for, but here I go... This whole thing, well it sounds like a little kid talking, and I'm going to assume that's your intelligence going down on account of your apparent anger. That, and the poor spelling does not help your case. Anyway, I'll stand with DW here. If you can't go fast in Adventure, then you just suck at it. I myself can get going pretty fast, even as the slower characters like Big and Amy. (BIG: find a slope and run down it. Now avoid hitting things. AMY: Jump. For some reason, her aerial acceleration is through the roof.) The reason I like Adventure's control better? You already know this, it's because I like being able to direct Sonic in more than 3 directions at any given time. Need a boost? Spin-dash or Air Dash, your choice, and they're both fast. Additional bonus? There's no gauge limiting either one.
  22. Who's to say that either Eggman managed to get out? For all we know, Sonic could be fighting Bowser! Ahaha, now that would be a sight to see! And however the gimmicks are handled, I just want my Adventure-style control. I'm tired of Sonic only being able to move forward and tilt left or right, I want to be able to veer in any direction I please!
  23. I don't even like Knuckles that much, but I just like having the "classic four" hero characters available, hopefully from the start. I think I can blame Shuffle for that, since my friends and I played that pretty often when we were little and one of us had a Dreamcast. EDIT: Some disclosure on that, if you're interested. (I really doubt it, but I'm in a bit of a story mood.)
