Sonic Australia is holding a big meet in Sydney Park on Saturday June 28. There will be a sausage sizzle and many Sonic themed foods! There will be competitions and a raffle on the day as well as various Sonic activities. Sonic himself will be there personally so everyone can wish him a Happy Birthday and watch him cut the cake! How about a bump for the new year? So the comic finished up this week...what are people's thoughts on the final strip? Did they pull it off well, or could they have done better? For me, I'm kinda disappointed. I was expecting a really spectacular finale with Super Sonic, but all they did was poke fun at Doomsday's level design. The Knuckles part was kinda lame as well. I really hope those exclusive strips are released online in some way. Would really want to see what they're about. I'm also hoping the creators miss working on Sonic one day, and decide to make a new series.

Still playing Animal Crossing, but recently I got Cthulhu Saves the World for Christmas, and I've been playing that lately. Everyone who has Steam, go buy it. Now. It's only $3 and it's an indie game to boot.

Currently playing through Animal Crossing: New Leaf for 3DS. It's been great fun these past few weeks. I'm hoping to get some pictures from villagers soon, just gotta keep doing requests and stuff.

I played this game a fair bit, and despite some issues it's actually pretty good. My only real gripes were that Sonic was a bit slow and heavy, and the bottom route being covered completely by water. Hopefully you go somewhere with this, if this is what you can just achieve in a few months I'd love to see what else you can come up with when given more time!

I'm not 100% sure on this but I'm pretty sure it's got something to do with Old Castle Zone. Go to the Past and you'll see there's an area blocked by rocks. Boost into it to get rid of them, and you should be able to go through to a new level there. I haven't been able to go to the same zone since, so I'm sure it must be related to Polem World. Be sure to explore everything once you're there, because you can't go back to it.

When it was first released, I absolutley hated Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. It felt almost worse than the original and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how the gravity controls worked. I handed it back in a few days later. Then a few years later, I decided to randomly try it out again. All of a sudden after a few tries I worked out the gravity mechanic and could even save myself from falling off the track due to timing when to do it. To my surprise, I was able to finish the game. And to this day, I still love it. The best game out of the Riders trilogy, provided you know what you're doing.

I'm hoping for Mega Typhlosion because Typholosion has always been awesome, and what's more awesome than getting a Mega evo? I guess I'd like Arceus to get one too, just to see what they can do with it. It's the God of all Pokemon, so I think it should look more "godly".

So I think I'm just about done with this game. I don't really have the motivation for it anymore...I'm sick of shiny breeding already, 2 and a half boxes and no results. I've been going to the Battle Chateau every now and then to raise my rank, but I'm still too high levelled. I send Writs and the trainers I face are still too low levelled. Plus there's nothing to do after the post game stuff anyway...Sigh, well I'll be playing Animal Crossing in the mean time while I wait 2 years for Pokemon Z.

Since Christmas is happening in some countries right now, with the rest of the world not too far behind I thought I'd create a general fesitive thread here. Feel free to post about your presents, how your day went, what you celebrated, etc. Did your wishes come true? Did you have a great time? Post it here! My Christmas actually went really great for once! I had a great time. In terms of gifts, I got a ton of chocolate. I also got an Angry Birds stocking filled with candy canes and marshmallows, a pyjama t-shirt, a Disney bauble with cookies inside, and a Pokemon DVD movie (Genesect and the Legend Awakened). The food was good too. I never want to see that much food ever again. @__@
